The Protector Culture Podcast with Jimmy Graham Ep. 148: School Resource Officer Kyle Goudy

In this episode of the Protector Culture Podcast, Jimmy sits down with School Resource Officer Kyle Goude for an important conversation about the Pathway to Violence continuum taught by the FBI. Violence rarely happens without warning. There are often observable behaviors, decisions, and indicators that occur along the pathway before someone reaches the point of committing an act of violence. Understanding that progression can help protectors, educators, church leaders, security professionals, and communities recognize concerning behaviors earlier and respond before a situation escalates. Kyle breaks down the different stages of the continuum and explains what protectors should be looking for, why context matters, and how recognizing the pathway can help move our mindset from simply reacting to violence to preventing it. This episode is a valuable resource for anyone responsible for the safety of students, churches, schools, workplaces, and the communities they serve. Listen in, learn the indicators, and become a better protector. Who's Jimmy Graham? Jimmy spent over 15 years in the US Navy SEAL Teams earning the rank of Chief Petty Officer (E7).
