The Holodeck is Broken - A Star Trek Podcast

Party Now, Apocalypse Later Industries

Four friends are watching Star Trek--all of it—from the beginning. One has watched too much Star Trek over the years, one grew up on it, one has watched a few episodes here and there, and another has never seen one second of any Trek. Together they will explore the Final Frontier in a way only they could. Great for long-time fans and newcomers!

Skin of Evil/We'll Always Have Paris (S1, E22/E23)

Skin of Evil/We'll Always Have Paris (S1, E22/E23) Party Now, Apocalypse Later Industries And so it comes time to say goodbye, for now, to a character we’ve grown to love and appreciate. Of course, we’re talking about the super-annoying, fourth-of-four chief engineers we’ve been subjected to this season, Leland T. Gasbag. Also, (spoilers) Tasha Yar joins that Great Big Anbo-Jyutsu tournament in the sky and says good-bye via a ghost hologram in the middle of a Window’s 95 desktop background. It sounds like we didn’t like the episode, but we did. Also, We’ll Always Have Paris happened. Mac tries to remember if Oklahoma’s only Casablanca-themed restaurant was a thing he imagined, and the entire away team would prefer if Warner Bros. doesn’t sue. Friendibals: Two Friends Talking About Hannibal Lecter is now airing on the Mondays immediately after fridays in which we post new THIBs. Elementary, Dear Data/The Outrageous Okona (S2, E3/E4)

Elementary, Dear Data/The Outrageous Okona (S2, E3/E4) Party Now, Apocalypse Later Industries Can an episode be FUN and feature Katherine Pulaski? We’ll find out today with “Elementary, Dear Data.” Other questions pondered include: Is Rocketeer great? (It is.) Is Geordi running a speakeasy out of Engineering? (There is some circumstantial evidence). Is it someone’s job to be on lookout in Engineering in case Picard shows up? (That, or they have an emergency transport to get rid of Lego at a moment’s notice). Just how many Spots (Data’s cat) were there? (Too many to answer, even though we haven’t seen any of them yet). Would Worf have fun at a carnival? (If there was honor in combat to be won.) Special welcome to Beyond The Cabin in The Woods, joining the Party Now, Apocalypse Later family!
