Praise God from the heavens; praise Him in the lofty heights. הַלְלוּהוּ כָל מַלְאָכָיו, הַלְלוּהוּ כָּל צְבָאָיו׃ Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts. הַלְלוּהוּ שֶׁמֶשׁ וְיָרֵחַ, הַלְלוּהוּ כָּל כּוֹכְבֵי אוֹר׃ Praise Him, sun and moon; praise Him, all the stars that shine. הַלְלוּהוּ שְׁמֵי הַשָּׁמָיִם, וְהַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר מֵעַל הַשָּׁמָיִם׃ Praise Him, the loftiest of the heavens, and the waters that are above the heavens. יְהַלְלוּ אֶת שֵׁם יְיָ, כִּי הוּא צִוָּה וְנִבְרָאוּ׃ Let them praise the name of God, because He commanded, and they were created. וַיַּעֲמִידֵם לָעַד לְעוֹלָם, חָק נָתַן וְלֹא יַעֲבוֹר׃ He established them forever, for all time; He laid down a statute, and it shall not be contravened. הַלְלוּ אֶת יְיָ מִן הָאָרֶץ, תַּנִּינִים וְכָל תְּהֹמוֹת׃ Praise God from the earth, the sea-serpents and all [the creatures of] the watery depths. אֵשׁ וּבָרָד שֶׁלֶג וְקִיטוֹר, רוּחַ סְעָרָה עֹשָׂה דְבָרוֹ׃ Fire and hail, snow and steam, the stormy wind that carries out His command; הֶהָרִים וְכָל גְּבָעוֹת, עֵץ פְּרִי וְכָל אֲרָזִים׃ mountains and all the hills, fruit trees and all cedars; הַחַיָּה וְכָל בְּהֵמָה, רֶמֶשׂ וְצִפּוֹר כָּנָף׃ wild beasts and all domesticated animals, crawling creatures and winged fowl; מַלְכֵי אֶרֶץ וְכָל לְאֻמִּים, שָׂרִים וְכָל שֹׁפְטֵי אָרֶץ׃ the kings of the earth and all nations; nobles and all the judges of the land; בַּחוּרִים וְגַם בְּתוּלוֹת, זְקֵנִים עִם נְעָרִים׃ young men and maidens, elders with youth; – יְהַלְלוּ אֶת שֵׁם יְיָ, כִּי נִשְׂגָּב שְׁמוֹ לְבַדּוֹ, הוֹדוֹ עַל אֶרֶץ וְשָׁמָיִם׃ let them all praise the name of God, for His name is exalted alone. His glory is upon the earth and heaven. וַיָּרֶם קֶרֶן לְעַמּוֹ, תְּהִלָּה לְכָל חֲסִידָיו, לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל עַם קְרֹבוֹ, הַלְלוּיָהּ׃ He raised a standard for His nation, [generating] praise for all His pious ones – for the Children of Israel, the people close to Him.
