  1. the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God

    May 24

the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God

28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. 30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now[h] receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. 32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all. Doxology 33  Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and[i] knowledge of God!     How unsearchable his judgments,     and his paths beyond tracing out! 34  “Who has known the mind of the Lord?     Or who has been his counselor?”[j] 35  “Who has ever given to God,     that God should repay them?”[k] 36  For from him and through him and for him are all things.     To him be the glory forever! Amen. Core TeachingsHeaven exists within: Heaven is inside each person, and everyone has the ability to share that inner love with all of creation around us 2Jesus's true message: His parables and teachings were about creating individual little churches inside each person, not building a great institutional church 2Present-moment salvation: We don't have to wait until we're dead to move forward towards heaven; we can find and create heaven here by connecting to that love now 1 Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/faith-love-trust--3493635/support.

  2. he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves

    Apr 6

he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves

11 Since, then, we know what it is to fear the Lord, we try to persuade others. What we are is plain to God, and I hope it is also plain to your conscience. 12 We are not trying to commend ourselves to you again, but are giving you an opportunity to take pride in us, so that you can answer those who take pride in what is seen rather than in what is in the heart. 13 If we are “out of our mind,” as some say, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. 14 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. 16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin[b] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 3. Put on the full armor of God

    Mar 30

Put on the full armor of God

The Armor of God 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mysteryof the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/faith-love-trust--3493635/support.
