Favorite podcast hands down
I love Steven’s interviewing skills, and his ability to weave in so many universal themes of what it means to simply be human. This is not just another climbing podcast!
Equal parts psych and compassion
I’ve been climbing for 15 years. My wife and I had our second baby 6 months ago and I (understandably) fell off of my climbing focus. To get back into it this, I needed something that was equal parts climbing psych and understanding of the mental and emotional strain that comes from it. Steven is threading that needle perfectly! He engages his guests in the most interesting insights from detailed training “nuggets” to compassionate discussions of addiction and depression. His guests range from climbers in the top 0.01% to locals with meaningful perspective on the sport. Even the ads are organic and personal.
Ugh
Usually a decent pod but the anak episode really took a turn and I had to turn it off. Leave religion to the religious podcasters please
