    The Naked Gun Review – They Actually Pulled It Off!

    It’s been YEARS since a comedy in theaters had me laughing this hard — but The Naked Gun delivers. Liam Neeson’s deadpan performance is perfect, Pamela Anderson brings great comedic chemistry, and Danny Huston nails the over-the-top billionaire villain role.Directed by the Lonely Island crew (Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers), this legacy sequel keeps the spirit of the originals while updating it for a new era. It’s wacky, fast-paced, and packed with jokes from start to finish.Sure, a few gags run a little long, but overall this is exactly the kind of fun, absurd, big-screen comedy we’ve been missing.     Together Review – A Bold & Bizarre Body Horror Romance

    In a summer overloaded with legacy sequels and remakes, Together is a breath of fresh (and grotesque) air. Directed by Michael Shanks in his feature debut, this body horror flick blends deeply personal relationship drama with disgusting, clever, and macabre horror. Alison Brie and Dave Franco bring lived-in chemistry to a couple grappling with something way beyond your average relationship problem. Their performances elevate the bizarre premise into something shockingly grounded. And while the third act dips into familiar horror tropes, the film still manages to end on a unique and artistic note.     28 Years Later Review – Beautiful, Brutal, and a Bit Broken

    Danny Boyle returns to the world of the Rage virus with 28 Years Later, a haunting and beautifully directed film that’s equal parts horror and art. Alfie Williams shines in the lead role, supported by strong turns from Jodie Comer and Ralph Fiennes. While the performances and cinematography are top-tier, the film’s segmented plot—essentially three stories in one—holds it back from greatness. Still, its worldbuilding and unique take on post-apocalyptic survival make it a worthy entry in the series. 7/10.
