    The Precious Present

    The inspiration for this episode comes from Spencer Johnson’s book, The Precious Present. Itis a simple story about how we can wish our lives away, longing for how things used to be or worrying about how they will be. In the story, a boy learns that the only way to be truly happy is to be present. Quoting from the book: “learning to be in the present was a process he was going to have to do over and over … again and again… until it became a part of him.” As a person and as a professional, there are times when I need help to return to the present moment, especially when the stakes are high.     Molly McCormick has spent her career helping people in all sorts of work lines and walks of life get out of their own way.     What a Difference a Year Makes
