Not Me, But You!

Welcome to Not Me, But You! This is likely one of the most ironically titled podcasts since the focus is designed to be on the podcast listeners rather than the podcast creator. I spent half of my life as a school administrator and I want to share with you what I've learned about education, teaching, learning, reaching your goals, attaining your dreams, developing relationships, encouragement, motivation, business, income, and money. My desire is to shine some "psychological sunshine" onto your thinking. I believe it's possible for you and me to attain our dreams in life. But often, many of us need a good teacher, a good mentor, and a good cheerleader in order to help us along the way.  I am confident that you will learn some things from me. But more importantly I want to learn something from you. I will share what I'm passionate about. But I also want to discover what you are passionate about. And by listening, you will discover how to set goals, how to track goals, how to achieve goals, how to select a good "guru" or mentor or teacher or advisor, how to make money and save money. And most of all, I want you to discover what is your most valuable asset and how to gain freedom in your life. (Answer: your most valuable asset is your TIME).  How do we do that? By buying and holding assets. But we need to learn which assets are best for us. You can become wealthy by pushing buttons on your phone!

Sea: 3- Ep- #44 -Gold and Silver Vs. Bitcoin (When To Invest? Is It Too Late?)

Send us Fan Mail Season 3, Episode #44. Not Me, But You! Podcast.  Not Me, But You! coming soon to YouTube!  Precious mettles like Gold/Silver can be useful in a financial portofolio in my opinion. This is NOT financial advice. Do you own "certificates?" or the actual gold/silver metal? If you own the actual metal in what secure place do you store the metal? Transporting the metal can be cumbersome and problematic.  Precious metals like Gold/Silver can be a good hedge against inflation and "money debasement." But HOW you invest and HOW you buy it can make a difference. Do you dollar cost average with freqent purchases? This is the method I would use. Now you are holding the asset (precious metal) and hoping the price goes up so you can sell and lock in some profit. It'a a buy/hold opportunity. Precious metals do NOT pay dividends typicaly.  What about Bitcoin? I discuss a side-by-side comparison of precious metals (specifically gold) as compared to Bitcoin for an investor who bought both starting in January 2010. This "investor" does NOT likely exist on planet earth. Why? That is part of what we discuss. There were challenges in 2010 especially with Bitcoin.  If you bought gold you would have had to held it through 2024 when the price went up significantly. With Bitcoin, we can look forward to a new all time high price about every 4 years. One primary features of Bitcoin, as an asset, is that it has a FIXED supply.  Why invest at all? Answer: because your money is buying less and less EACH year! Our main goal as investors: is to OUTPACE the TRUE rate of inflation. Not the reported inflation numbers. Do you buy groceries, or fuel? Just look at how costs have gone up dramatically since Covid!  I utilize the power of consistentcy...rinsing/repeating to work to my advantage over time.  Have courage today, to pick one thing, and work on your dreams. We will talk again soon.  #Bitcoin, #Gold, #silver, #retirement, #math, #simple, #inflation, #cost of red meat, #redmeat, #water, #covid, #ROI, #death, #taxes, #consistency, #dollarcostaverage, #fixedsupply, #fixed, #supply, #assets I'm not a financial advisor. Sea: 3- Ep-#38- Investor A vs. Investor B (Growth vs. Income- 2 Different Strategies)

Send us Fan Mail Season 3, Episode #38. Not Me, But You! Podcast  Complexity is the enemy of execution per Tony Robbins. Do research and then get moving. That is the only path to ultimate success. It takes practice to develop a mindset of being resilient and learning from failure and then making adjustments because we learned from that failure. We didn't let the failure define us.  Having confidence that you will ultimately be successful even if you fail along the way- if you have this mindset BEFORE you start something new, then you will ultimately succeed. If you treat new challenges like it's a foregone conclusion that you will succeed, then it's just a matter of  time and practice at that point.  What I have described above are valuable skill sets/mind sets that will help you to become a better investor. You will make better choices. And remember nobody gets investing righ 100% of the time. Not even professional money managers get it right ever time.  It is my belief that people often spend too much time researching things instead of simply starting. So I encourage you to get started. Not financial advice. But this is what has worked for me.  Instead of fearing failure... the words "one day and someday" I believe are much more dangerous. Why? Because if your plans are wrapped up ONLY in "one day" or "someday" than those days might NEVER get here. You might die or become too sick to attempt those things that you put off until "one day" or "someday."  So learning THROUGH action, I believe is a much better way to learn than simply doing research for an indefinite amount of time until "one day" or "someday" you feel confident enough to actually get started!  We discuss investing for growth and investing for income (dividends/income). Our entire lives revolve around cash flow/payments. We have payments that flow away from us. We have payments that flow to us! What is that ratio?  Too many people believe that is they simply won the lottery- a pile of cash would solve all of their problems? Would it? What if tomorrow you had $2,000,000 in your bank account. What do you do next? How do you manage the money? Investing is the one are of life where people hate to see prices go down!  Have courage today, to pick one thing, and work on your dreams. We will talk again soon.  #growth, #goals, #retirement, #achievment, #dividends, #income, #SPYI, #QQQI, #streams, #Roth, #IRA, #brokerage, #mindset, #realestate, #bitcoin, #STRC, #SpaceX, #Tesla, #cashflow   I'm not a financial advisor.
