    My guest today are the men of Black Bottom Gun Club and Malcolm Little Gun Club, Michigan's Detroit and Lansing chapters of NAAGA. Chad King, Ross Palmer, and Stephan Alexander also are founder/owner and instructors of Apex Defense, Great Lakes Firearm Safety Training, and A2 Tactical Defense. Each of these instructors stress the importance of training beyond the basics, and stepping out of the comfort zone to get instruction as early as possible and throughout the life of gun ownership.     On today's show, my guest are the dynamic women of Black Bottom Gun Club and Malcolm Little Gun Club (the Detroit and Lansing NAAGA chapters). But make no mistake, these women are more than just members. They are range safety officers, certified instructors and organizers of the monthly "Ladies Range Day",  which allows for beginners to badd ass shooters to commune in sistership/friendship and continue to build skills together.   We chat about our first experiences with guns, how Black women with firearms are viewed, and why it's important as Black women to write our own narratives in this space. We also uplift how wonderful and important the support from the men of the club has been.
