Running it back
I got to take my comment back to the conversation about Gayle and Kobe. The subject had already been brought up. It was all over Twitter and WW were dragging him the DAY he died. Where was the vitriol for them? Is it better for Gayle to bring it up with his best friend and have her control the narrative or do we not address it in the same way we don’t address the other wrongs in the community? Where are the conversations about Gervontae Davis, Floyd Mayweather, DaBaby and how they’re abusing women? Can we talk about this pervasive need to protect the black man at all costs and the black women are just left out there? Or is Kobe the exception because of his celebrity and these DV victims aren’t so they aren’t worthy of attention? I want to see people stop acting like Kobe is a god and above reproach.
