More Movies Please!

Steven Reyes & Sean Anderson

Steven and Sean want to watch all the movies. No really, ALL the movies. We're both filmmakers (although Sean's been dabbling in other things) who love to talk about all the movies we see. Each episode, we discuss a movie we've recently watched and decide whether or not it's worth your time. Hosted by Steven Reyes and Sean Anderson.

The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension: It’s Bigbooté!

Send us a text On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are trying to stop a mad scientist from destroying all that we hold dear. We watched the 1984 film from W.D. Richter, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension. A curious thing happens while you’re watching this movie (at least it did to us): you’ll be thrilled, you’ll be delighted, you’ll be puzzled, but you probably won’t remember much of it the following day. Why yes, that does mean it’s our B-movie episode of the month. And what a month it’s been—happy birthday, Steven! We’ll happily travel across all dimensions with you, even the eighth one. Black Christmas / It’s a Wonderful Knife: Zap Zap, Bitch

Send us a text Spoiler alert!!!!!!!!! On the podcast this time, Steven and Sean are wrapping up the year with a gruesome double feature. We watched the 2019 film from Sophia Takal, Black Christmas and the 2023 film from Tyler MacIntyre, It’s a Wonderful Knife. Whether you’re fighting for your life by battling a murderous frat house hive mind or traveling to a different reality where your father is a serial killer, you’re always going to have a decent time when it’s snowy out. So happy holidays from us here at More Movies Please! While we hope you’ve had a good year watching excellent movies with us, we don’t actually wish that you’ll have to narrowly avert death at the hands of a Christmas killer.
