And proving herself a trooper and amazing sport about it all, P0etic from the The Whole-E Shift!! Podcast calls in and does a tarot card reading for me live on air! Not a believer at all but mad respect to her for calling in knowing who she was dealing with. Nothing but love P0etic!

    Episode 14 – A Super Productive Double-Header

    The primary focus of this entire episode is dedicated to shining a spotlight on Anarcho-Syndicalism/Socialism, explaining what they are and to demonstrate what they functionally  look like, identify some of the potential pitfalls, how they can be avoided and to provide methods on how to bring these ideologies and philosophies in to your life and community. This is the longest published livestream to date (6 hours) and is contains some amazingly productive work. Although the beginning lacks a touch of chat/community involvement it definitely gets busy later on with several callers across the entirety including a curious high-schooler, a musician and fellow podcaster from California, a Texas-based dance instructor and an Indian caller looking to practice some English.     In this livestream I start off discussing my latest binge of the Assassin's Creed video game series and the corrupting force of capitalism even in something as "simple" as video games. We also have a talk about taxes in their many forms and implementations here (the USA) and abroad, the extraction of wealth by the wealthy and the oppression of poor people in general. We also discuss voting and different voting styles after my anecdote about voting in the Nevada Democratic Caucus. Also on the table is the ramifications of the Poverty of Philosophy and we as always take a caller. ***Due to some strangeness with Audition I had to use the backup stream recording of this show and as such some audio elements may be below the quality that is normal for our show (music, etc).
