Fruit of the Kingdom Matthew 21:33–46 // Sermon Audio

What does it mean for God's people to bear fruit? In this sermon from a special joint worship service of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and Lutheran Church of the Atonement in Burien, we hear Jesus' parable of the tenants from Matthew 21:33–46. God calls His people to bear fruit in lives shaped by faith and repentance. The parable also points us to Jesus Christ, the cornerstone rejected by the world yet chosen by God for our salvation. Our lives do not produce the fruit of God's kingdom through our own strength or righteousness. God works through His grace to create faith and repentance and to shape lives that reflect His love. As Christians gather around God's Word, we are reminded that our hope is not found in ourselves but in Jesus Christ, the cornerstone of our salvation. Kingdom Growth: Treasures of the Kingdom Matthew 13 Sermon

What is worth more than everything else we possess? In this final message of the Kingdom Growth series, Jesus points us to the incomparable value of the kingdom of heaven. Through the parables of the hidden treasure and the pearl of great price, we learn that life with Christ is the greatest treasure anyone can receive. More importantly, the Gospel reveals that Christ first sought us, redeemed us, and made us His treasured possession. Drawing from Deuteronomy 7:6–9, Romans 8:28–39, and Matthew 13:44–52, this sermon proclaims the comforting promise that nothing—not suffering, hardship, fear, or even death can separate God's people from His love in Christ Jesus. Whether you are facing uncertainty, searching for purpose, or growing in faith, this message reminds us that our lasting hope and security are found in Christ alone. Theme: Treasures of the Kingdom Scripture Readings: Deuteronomy 7:6–9 Romans 8:28–39 Matthew 13:44–52 This sermon was preached at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in SeaTac, Washington, a congregation of The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). Kingdom Growth: Plant Seeds of the Kingdom Matthew 13 Sermon

How does God's kingdom grow? In this sermon from the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost, Jesus tells the Parable of the Sower, revealing that the growth of God's kingdom depends not on human effort but on the power of His living Word. Like a farmer scattering seed, God continues to sow His Word generously into every kind of heart, creating faith and producing fruit according to His gracious purpose. We gather around Isaiah 55:10–13, Romans 8:12–17, and Matthew 13:1–9, 18–23, this message offers encouragement to Christians who faithfully share God's Word and reminds us that the Lord alone gives the growth.
