    Tiger Talk is an award winning podcast that is written and produced by 4th and 5th grade EAST students at John Tyson Elementary School of Innovation in Springdale, Arkansas. St. Francis House: Homelessness Prevention & Rapid Re-Housing What is SSVF? The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program is a homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing program designed to assist Veteran families at risk of homelessness to maintain their housing and to rapidly re-house Veteran families who are experiencing homelessness. Services Offered* Case Management: A housing stability plan is developed with each client and may include: housing search, securing utilities, landlord mediation, budgeting, coordinating other services. THE PURPOSE OF BO'S BLESSINGS  Bo’s Blessings - LUTHAB, Inc., is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, more specifically to engage the Northwest Arkansas community, including veterans and military family, in improving the quality of life and positively impacting the lives of the military community by providing empowerment and reintegration programs, community service, and veterans’ appreciation programs. Bo's Blessings provides programs, support, and resources that help veterans transition back to a civilian life with their families and their community. Military Service Sisters is a statewide community created by and for women veterans in Arkansas. The organization strives to support, empower, and connect female veterans with others who truly understand their journey through inclusive community, advocacy, and support programs that honor their unique experiences and foster belonging. The hosts of Tiger Talk hope to help veterans connect with organizations in Northwest Arkansas that serve veterans.  During this episode, Janette, Rodrick, Witten, and Yaretzi interview Mrs. Dorothy Cardiel about two organizations that provide veterans with opportunities for social connections in Northwest Arkansas.  The VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) is an organization for United States military veterans who served overseas during conflict. The VFW Post 2952 is located at 1894 W. Sunset Avenue in Springdale, Arkansas. Jerry Hulsey is the commander and his telephone number is 479-249-2344.
