Cowboys Pass Rush Is BROKEN — Can Dallas Fix It Before Houston? | Cowboys Daily Blitz

The Dallas Cowboys pass rush has become a major problem, and it’s one Dallas needs to solve quickly. On this edition of the Dallas Cowboys Daily Blitz, IndyCarTim breaks down why the Cowboys’ inability to consistently get to the quarterback is becoming one of the biggest concerns surrounding the defense. Dallas has recorded just two sacks through three games and has gone two straight games without a sack. Pressure is one thing. Actually putting the quarterback on the ground is another. So what’s the answer? Should defensive coordinator Christian Parker blitz more aggressively? Can Quinnen Williams and the defensive front start creating more havoc? ️ Does an injury-hit secondary make blitzing too dangerous? Can Dallas manufacture pressure with different fronts and simulated pressures? And the timing matters. The Cowboys now head to Houston to face an 0-3 Texans team that desperately needs a win. Dallas is sitting at 1-2, making this an important early-season game for Brian Schottenheimer’s team. The Cowboys cannot allow Houston to suddenly find its offensive rhythm because the quarterback has all day to throw. Timm also discusses: Dallas’ 34-31 loss to Baltimore Why the defense couldn’t make the final stop Jerry Jones and potential roster additions The Cowboys’ upcoming schedule Why Sunday could expose an even bigger defensive problem If Dallas can’t generate pressure against Houston, the conversation surrounding this defense is going to get considerably louder. Cowboys CHOKE in Final 23 Seconds! Dak, Schottenheimer & Clock Chaos

The Dallas Cowboys lost 34-31 to the Baltimore Ravens in Rio, but the real story was how Dallas completely unraveled in the final 23 seconds. On this episode of the Dallas Cowboys Daily Blitz, we break down the late-game sequence that turned a potential Cowboys win into another painful loss. Dallas had the ball at the 2-yard line with 23 seconds left, a productive running game and a chance to take the lead. Instead, the Cowboys: Didn’t run the ball once Took a false start Burned a questionable timeout Had Dak Prescott throw the ball away on third down Settled for a field goal Kicked the ensuing kickoff through the end zone Then allowed Zay Flowers to get loose for a 27-yard gain Baltimore used that final possession to set up a 56-yard game-winning field goal. We also look at Brian Schottenheimer’s admission that he may have “overcoached” Dak Prescott, the decision to play conservatively near the goal line and whether Dallas simply outsmarted itself when the game was on the line. And don’t overlook this: Javonte Williams had 98 yards on 19 carries, averaging 5.2 yards per attempt, yet Dallas never handed him the ball from the 2-yard line in the deciding sequence. This wasn’t bad luck. This was bad situational football. Subscribe to Fan Stream Sports for daily Cowboys analysis, reaction and opinion. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
