When I first started listening to this podcast I was a 40 year old two time divorcee with chronic halitosis. I had just been laid from my long time accounting job at Waffle House. I was 5 months behind on my mortgage and about to be homeless. My life has become so sad my pet fish won’t make eye contact with me. Suddenly I came across this podcast while scrolling through my phone at 3:34 am. I was down in the dumps and looking for a pick me up. When I heard Chris and Pris lighthearted approach answering simple questions it really lifted me spirits. This podcast isn’t about being factual or actually getting the answers right. It about spending a few minutes getting away from all of life’s cares and finding a shelter from the stressors of adulting. Any spare moment I can find I spending catching up on the podcast which gives me the extra little boost I need to get through the hours, days , and weeks. And little by little I climb through the muck of this world and find an oasis rest my weary head. After consistently listening to this pod for the passed few weeks, I’m pleased to say that not only have I gotten my job back, I’m now the CEO. Not only have I rekindled my marriage with my last wife my first wife is interested in make a throuple work. I’m three months ahead on my mortgage. My pet fish stands at attention and salutes when I walk in the room. And what about my bad breath you might ask? I’ve starting using extra strength mouth wash and let me tell my whole world has changed. Now I’m sure your guessing that there a bunch humor and nonsense mixed in with this very real review, and you most likely be right. But even through all the shenanigans I’m sure you mind was taken off some big thing that been weighing you down. Even if it just made you smile I bet you felt your time spent reading was worth it. If that’s true you’ve gotten a small taste of what this podcast is all about. Just like make Sam Raimi movies it’s about not taking life too seriously and just enjoy the moment. And in the case of this podcast it’s the moment just chatting with someone you like.
Love you Chris Priscilla we’ll keep the questions coming if you promise to keep answering. 😉
