    The Lonnie IV Game | LA Lakers vs GS Warriors: Game 4 | Discusshane Ep. 40

    To get to the playoffs, you need your star players to play like star player. But to win playoff games, you need your role players to step up and produce star-like numbers. But to win key playoff games vs the defending champs, who are led by Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson, you need a miracle. And that miracle was Lonnie Walker IV. AD dominated in the paint on both ends, per usual. Lebron chipped in with almost 30 points. But to overcome a 30-point triple-double and save the Lakers' season in the biggest game of the season, Lonnie IV rose up and never came back down. VIDEO POD! LA Lakers vs GS Warriors: Game 3 | Discusshane Ep. 39

    The Lakers rebounded with a 30-point blowout to the Warriors by putting on a defensive clinic led by Anthony Davis. Lebron James gave an all-around performance and revved up the Crypto crowd with his hustle plays. And D'Angelo Russell took control of the offense with his 3pt shooting. On the other hand, the Warriors' big 3 were completely flustered with their sloppy passes partnered with committing too many fouls. With LA leading the series 2-1, Game 4 will be the most crucial game of both of the teams' seasons. Will the Lakers put on a stranglehold with a 3-1 lead or will the Warriors take back control, tying the series at 2-2? Also, I know I have no intro or outro... So I apologize LOL This is my first time doing a video podcast, so give me grace because it's been a minute since I've done one. LA Lakers vs GS Warriors: Game 2 Review | Discusshane Ep. 38

    The Lakers got blown out by the Warriors, led by their big 3 Curry, Draymond, & Klay. AD continues to be giving this roller-coaster type of performances with another bad game after an incredible outing. But despite the doom-and-gloom, there’s still reason to be optimistic about the Lakers going forward.

    LA Lakers vs GS Warriors: Game 1 Review | Discusshane Ep. 37

    Today, we go over the LA Lakers 117-112 win over the GS Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA West Semifinals. Who are the Lakers MVPs of the game? Why Warriors fans & NBA media can’t bring up the free-throw discrepancy to excuse their loss? How the Lakers can adjust to the Warriors zone defense?

    Modern-Day David vs. Goliath | Super Bowl LVI | NFL | Discusshane Ep. 36

    We see only see these stories in myths or fairytales that we're told as kids. But even as adults, these stories are as real as real can get. The story of the massive underdog, unlikely hero, the nobody going up against all odds to defeat the overwhelming favorite, the overpowered villain, the somebody. David and Goliath. The tortoise and the hare. Lebron being down 3-1 to the 73-9 Warriors with Kevin Durant. We've seen this story, and there's another one we can potentially add to the list: The Cincinnati Bengals vs the Los Angeles Rams (AKA Joe Burrow vs the star-studded LA Rams).  Today I discuss the improbable, yet inspirational story of Joe Burrow going from the lowest of lows to defying the odds to be at the highest highs...not once, but twice in his short football career. From being the backup's backup to having the greatest season ever in college football history. From tearing his ACL in his rookie year to leading his team to the Super Bowl in the following year. BEN SIMMONS is not the PROBLEM | HARDEN & TRAE are DONE for | NBA | Discusshane Ep. 35

    Ben Simmons was a big reason to why the Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. But he wasn't the only problem, there were plenty of issues & reasons as to why they failed this season. He's been overrated for so long that his plummeting value is now making him underrated. Whichever team trades for the 6'10 point guard plays for won't regret it. With the recent rule changes that are to be implemented for next year's NBA season, star scorers will have to adjust their entire playstyle to be able to still be effective on the offensive end. This rule change won't solve the non-basketball foul-drawn issue that the NBA refs, fans, & analysts are pleading to change.

    Giannis = TOP 3 | Shohei Ohtani > Babe Ruth | Conor’s career is OVER | Discusshane Ep. 34

    Giannis Antetokounmpo should at least be the 5th best player in the NBA based off of his accolades alone (2x MVP, DPOY, multiple time All-NBA & All-Defensive teams). But if he wins the 2021 Finals & Finals MVP, he has a legitimate case to be considered as a top 3 player over Kawhi, Curry, & Harden… Shohei Ohtani is doing something we’ve never seen in the last century. Imagine if Curry led the NBA in blocks or steals, or if Giannis led the league in 3-pointers made or 3-point percentage. That’s the equivalent of what Ohtani is doing for baseball. As the best pitcher on his team, he’s also leading the MLB in home runs… With the aftermath of Conor McGregor’s loss to Dustin Poirer, both of their careers seem to be going in complete opposite directions. One seems to be on the same level of Nate Diaz, while the other seems to be on the same level of Kamaru Usman… Don’t forget to drop a LIKE! FOLLOW and SUBSCRIBE to listen to more podcasts! UFC 263 Recap | MMA | Discusshane Ep. 33

    UFC 263 was a roller coaster of an event. It was one of the first times the UFC had a full-capacity event since the COVID-19 pandemic closed everything down. And it was filled with emotions: perseverance, inspiration, and dominance. All of the main events (Diaz vs Edwards, Figueiredo vs Moreno, & Adesanya vs Vettori) not only lived up to the hype, but exceeded beyond expectations. In today's podcast, I recap each of the three main event fights and what I took away from them. Topics: 1. ENG Leon Edwards vs USA Nate Diaz (170 lbs/Welterweight) 2. BR Deivison Figueiredo vs MEX Brandon Moreno (125 lbs/Flyweight) 3. NGA Israel Adesanya vs ITA Marvin Vettori (185 lbs/Middleweight) Don’t forget to drop a LIKE!
