He Did Everything Right. So Why Did He Walk Away? | The Rich Young Ruler

Send us Fan Mail What are you holding on to? A man ran up to Jesus, fell on his knees, and asked the most important question of his life. He had done everything right. He kept the rules. But Jesus looked at him, loved him, and pointed to the one thing he still hadn’t let go of. And the man walked away sad. In week two of Lukewarm Won’t Last, [Speaker] takes us into the story of the rich young ruler and asks a question every one of us needs to answer honestly: What am I withholding from God? In this message, we’ll explore: The one thing this man lacked, even though he did everything right The difference between calling Jesus teacher and calling Him Lord What it really means that your life is not your own Why the things we hold back end up weighing us down What Jesus promises to those who let go Why the kingdom of God is worth everything We cannot afford to be lukewarm about lordship. This message will challenge you to look at what you’ve kept back and discover what you gain when you surrender it. 📖 Scriptures: Mark 10:17 to 30, Luke 18:18, 1 Corinthians 6:19 and 20, Matthew 7:21, Matthew 13:44 to 46 👉 Subscribe for new messages every week and turn on notifications so you never miss one.  💬 Let us know in the comments how this message spoke to you.  🙏 Need prayer? Are You Lukewarm? How to Get Your Passion for God Back

Send us Fan Mail What happened to your fire? Maybe you remember a season when your faith felt alive. When worship came easy and you couldn’t get enough of God. But somewhere along the way, life got busy, the passion faded, and now you’re just going through the motions. We’re kicking off a brand new three week series called Lukewarm Won’t Last. In this first message, Pastor Josh challenges us to take an honest look at where our passion for Christ really stands, and why staying in the middle isn’t an option. In this message, we’ll explore: The warning Jesus gave to a church that lost its first love Where real passion actually comes from Why passion has less to do with how you feel than you think What love for God looks like in everyday life What a king dancing in the streets teaches us about worship What happens when we stop growing On a scale of 1 to 10, where is your passion today? This message will help you find your way back to the fire. 📖 Scriptures: Revelation 2 and 3, Luke 10:27, John 14:15, 2 Samuel 6, Psalm 100 👉 Subscribe for new messages every week and turn on notifications so you never miss one.  💬 Let us know in the comments how this message spoke to you.  🙏 Need prayer? How Do You Let God Lead Your Life Every Day?

Send us Fan Mail Jesus told His followers something that must have sounded impossible: it was better for them that He leave. Why would anyone believe that losing Jesus could be a gain? In this message from our Supernatural series, Ashton Pope opens up John 16:7 and shows why the Holy Spirit is not a lesser substitute for Jesus but the inheritance He promised to everyone who follows Him. If you have ever felt stuck in the same patterns, pulled between what you want to do and what you know is right, or unsure how to actually let God lead your everyday life, this message is for you. Drawing from Galatians 5 and Romans 8, we explore what it looks like to walk by the Spirit, not as a vague religious idea, but as something real and practical you can start living today. And through one of the most beautiful and overlooked stories in Genesis, you will see a picture of the Holy Spirit that may change the way you think about Him forever. It is a story about a father, a son, a faithful servant, and a bride, and it points to something far bigger than itself. In this message we explore: ✨ Why Jesus said His leaving was actually good news 🕊️ What the Holy Spirit has to do with real freedom 🔥 Why so many of us keep living in the same struggle 🧭 What it looks like to let God set the pace of your life 💛 Where to find strength when you have nothing left 📖 A hidden picture of the Holy Spirit tucked away in Genesis Scriptures referenced: John 16:7, Galatians 5:13 to 25, Romans 8:5 to 9, Romans 8:26, Genesis 24 Walking by the Spirit is not about trying harder. It is about drawing closer to Jesus. 👉 Subscribe for new messages every week and turn on notifications so you never miss one. 💬 Let us know in the comments how this message spoke to you. 🙏 Need prayer? What Is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit? 7 Questions Answered

Send us Fan Mail Is there more to following Jesus than what you've experienced so far? In Acts 1:8, Jesus promised His followers, "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you." The Greek word for power is dunamis, the same root behind the word dynamite. In this message from our Supernatural series, Pastor Josh walks through seven honest questions about the Holy Spirit and what it means to be baptized in Him. We cover: Who is the Holy Spirit? Do we receive the Holy Spirit when we are saved? Is the deposit of the Holy Spirit the same as the baptism of the Holy Spirit? Why should we be baptized in the Holy Spirit? Who should receive the Holy Spirit? Can you be filled with the Holy Spirit again? How do I receive the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is the active presence of God in this world. He guides us, convicts us, encourages us, and empowers us. Every believer receives a deposit of the Holy Spirit at salvation, but Scripture also shows a distinct moment where we are immersed in Him. It's the difference between a deposit and being drenched: His presence AND His power. Jesus first: saved. Changed by love: sanctified. Sent with purpose: Spirit filled. The promise is for you, your children, and all who are far off (Acts 2:39). And you can be filled again and again. 📖 Scriptures: Acts 1:8, John 14:16 and 17, Ephesians 1:13 and 14, Acts 8:12 to 17, John 16:13, Luke 24:49, Acts 2:32 and 33, Acts 2:38 and 39, Acts 4:31, 1 Corinthians 14:1 #HolySpirit #BaptismOfTheHolySpirit #Supernatural #Acts18 #Sermon #Jesus #Faith

Is Someone Actually Rooting Against You?

Send us Fan Mail From the very beginning, the Garden of Eden was a place where people could simply be with God. But rebellion, first the devil's, then mankind's, broke that. That break is where every kind of destruction, division, and separation we see in the world traces back to. In this message we look at how that rebellion still plays out today, and how Jesus' whole mission was to reverse it, not just to get us to heaven someday, but to bring heaven to earth right now. We look at what that actually looks like in practice, the real, everyday contrasts between the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of heaven, and the authority Jesus has already given us in the middle of it. In this teaching we cover: How rebellion entered through the devil first, then through mankind (Genesis 3:1,7) Why sin is described as something "crouching at the door," desiring to have us (Genesis 4:6,7) Why Jesus preached about the kingdom of heaven more than any other subject (Matthew 4:17, Matthew 13:18,19) The everyday contrasts between the two kingdoms: hate and love, revenge and forgiveness, power and serving, and more Why the fight we're in isn't against people, but against unseen powers (Ephesians 6:12) The authority Jesus gives His followers over the enemy (Luke 10:17,21) Where all of this is headed: a new heaven and a new earth with no more death, mourning, or pain (Revelation 21:1,4) We are not left to fight this alone. #SpiritualWarfare #KingdomOfHeaven #Supernatural

What Happens When Life Shows Up Where It Shouldn't?

Send us Fan Mail What comes to mind when you hear the word "supernatural"? For a lot of people it's Halloween, ghosts, or things that can't be explained. But there's a supernatural reality that changes everything: the gift of new life through the Holy Spirit. In this message Rose walks through what it actually means to go from spiritually dead to spiritually alive, not "I was bad and now I'm good," but "I was dead and now I'm alive." That exchange, our acts of death for His gift of life, is at the center of what Jesus did on the cross and what the Holy Spirit does in us today. In this teaching we cover: What the Holy Spirit actually does in the life of a believer (John 14:26, John 16:13,14, 1 Corinthians 2:10,12, and more) Why the deepest pain of the cross wasn't physical but the separation from God (Matthew 27:45,46) How sin leads to separation, and how separation is the root of so much loneliness and brokenness The supernatural exchange at the heart of salvation (Romans 6:23) How that gift multiplied the moment the Holy Spirit arrived (Acts 2) Three resurrection stories, Faith for Five, and what Jesus' words to the dead reveal about the power available to us today (Luke 7:14,15, Mark 5:41,42, John 11:43,44) Salvation doesn't just come to you. It flows through you. #Supernatural #HolySpirit #Salvation #ChristianSermon #BibleTeaching #NewLife #SupernaturalSeries #ChristianYouTube #SundayMessage #Discipleship #FaithJourney
