    RURAL ROUTEINDEPENDENT VOICES SHAKE UP COLORADO POLITICS On this episode of Rural Route, Trent Loos welcomed Greg Lopez and Taralyn Romero to discuss their independent campaign for governor and lieutenant governor in Colorado. The duo explained their mission to get on the November ballot by collecting signatures before the July deadline while offering voters an alternative to the traditional two-party system. They shared concerns about Colorado’s shift toward liberal policies and emphasized their support for moderate conservative values, parental rights, and protecting children. The conversation also focused heavily on property rights and rising property taxes in Colorado. Taralyn Romero described how landowners are often criticized for defending private property, while Greg Lopez argued that many people no longer respect basic property rights.
