    Running, Therapy, AND Jesus

    In this episode, we will discuss being a Christian and therapist. Let’s talk about the stigma of going to therapy or being a therapist in church. It is possible to serve God and struggle with anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues. I will attempt to highlight some reasons depression or anxiety have been related to a lack of faith, how our faith can be supported in therapy as a coping skill. We will also (briefly) discuss MY (only my opinion) belief that our Pastors are our spiritual leaders, NOT our therapist. 🗣 seek your therapist, Pastor, then pray to God! It’s ok to have a therapist and Jesus! I hope you enjoy!
