This show could have had such potential. Since I do not want to be mean, I will leave it at that. If you like these kind of shows, check out Locations Unknown.

This show has some great stories, but the narrators get a lot of things wrong and are very thin skinned.

I very much appreciate the efforts and entertainment! I can tell the research and storytelling has been improving through time which shows these women actually care about the podcast. It’s a fun dynamic between mother and daughter who are sharing a passion (rather than just chasing a trend to make money), and it shows. Highlights: -Content: lost hikers/explorers, found ones too, with some adventure based crime stuff. The lost hiker stories are their specialty and what makes this podcast unique. Other true crime stories -when they branch out, it’s mostly along the lines of crimes/other mysterious disappearances in nature. -Few to no ads: This is huge for me! I really don’t listen to ad heavy content at all anymore so it’s appreciated that this podcast isn’t this way. I’m glad they are supported by Patreon members!

I love the subject matter but… neither of the hosts appear to well versed in hiking or trekking and, in some instances, mock hikers or victim blame. Check out Locations Unknown. Those hosts are knowledgeable and sensitive. And know how to pronounce basic words like refuge.
