Mourning the Murdered Podcast

Here is some constructive criticism from a listener that wants to keep listening and have these stories be told: Please consider toning down (or maybe eliminate entirely) the narration. It’s really really hard to listen to. It’s like I’m listening to a bad audition at my local theater group. The yelling it just too much. Speaking normally and compassionately is all we need. The interviews, however, are great. Keep those up! This is criticism that comes from a good place. I really want to hear these stories- very powerful.

This podcast spams their patreon in forums for other True Crime podcasts and are rude to people who voice their concerns with this lack of integrity. Very poor behavior.

The delivery of the narrator is excessively dramatic, the stories themselves are dramatic enough, would like to see a more journalistic approach and the production is amateurish but the concept is great and respecting these survivors is honorable, just think there’s a learning curve.

These are great stories and interviews. However, when the narrator speaks on her own it sounds like she is YELLING at us. It is quite uncomfortable. I would highly suggest speaking in a more friendly, conversational tone. That being said, I will continue to check in on this podcast as there is potential and I can tell the host truly cares about the stories she is telling.
