Healing Is Always In the Context of Community

Part 1 of 2. We sat down with Charlie Meo, pastor at Missio Dei: Tempe, and discussed mental health in regards to community, the Church, and spiritual formation. This was such a great conversation that we had to split it into two episodes. In this first part, we discuss the importance of healing within and for a community, and how personal healing is meant to contribute to the love of neighbor. Expression and Creativity

Processing thoughts and emotions is one aspect of mental health. But then what? How do you not only internalize what is coming in, but also express and get it out? For this episode we sat down with Noel D'Avy, a practicing counselor licensed in art therapy. We discuss healthy forms of expression and how God has created us to be present. Hosts: Chris Priebe & Anthony SuarezGuest: Noel D’Avy All music produced by Chris Priebe & Preston Dobbins, with the exception of ‘Alone’ on this episode, by Emmit Fenn from the Youtube Audio Library.

    Stay Home or Start Up

For Phoenix, AZ we’re beginning to ask the question: do we continue to stay home or is it time to start back up? This question is already starting to cause division and, for some reason, that division seems to be built around political agendas. How can followers of Christ hold onto a unity in the Spirit for the sake of our city, even when we come to diverse decisions in how to respond to this issue?
