Now 30 years on and still recording new music and in part 2 of this episode Geoff Berry explores the themes behind his writing and how that connects to his work and his studies to achieve a PHD in philosophy. Geoff talks about how the band has formed it's unique and wonderful sounds and his respect for the other members of Severins.     Commentary Podcast Part 1 of this episode is dedicated to Richard Moffat; because I did not mention him in my favourite, inspiring, supportive radio presenters from back in the day on Triple R.  Where Art meets Post Punk is how Severins formed out of the early 90s. Where there was a boundary they wanted to push it and now 30 years on, you may hear if this perspective has changed.. In Part 1 of Episode 4 Geoff Berry and I talk about the early formation of Severins after Gerry Sonts Tartan Hotpants went missing.     Commentary Podcast Yolanda has had such an interesting life and has seen bands that we could only imagine to have seen. This episode is dedicated to Steve Dagg.  Yolanda Ingley II has a story of migration, Australia and how women still are the back bone of successful men at the detriment to themselves and their talents. It is hard to find many men that would do the reverse. Warning: We swear in this episode.  We all need to thank the wonderful Steve Dagg for bringing Yolanda out of the kitchen and into our speakers. Yolanda has a voice to remember. A talent nearly lost to time and I wish everyone knew her songs. If you ever think you are too old please listen, if you are sacrificing your soul for others maybe Yolanda can help you dream for more. A story of how music can change paths, bring love and sorrow. But it's better to be blue and have loved than not love at all. Kristy explains to Mark the best things about Manchester music and Mark calls Brisbane a name she had not thought of and tells her why it has fantastic music. Making of a Musician's first international guest!  As a fan of many bands from Manchester I really loved talking to Mark, who likes Australian music more than what comes from Manchester, and really who wouldn't except probably me.  He has an eclectic amount of music produced and created from punk guitar to ambient dark synth instrumentals to experimenting with themes like Halloween, he has a great musical story and such a wide range of musical taste from Glam to Grandaddy.
