    416 古早人激酒

    古早做酒的方法是用喙哺。台灣原住民嘛用草仔、用黍仔激酒來請人客。佮別位相仝，往過佇台灣做酒是女性的工課，𪜶做酒來煮食，嘛浸藥酒來補身體。這集來講古早人激酒的方法佮這个工藝的傳承。 Kó-chá chò-chiú ê hong-hoat sī ēng chhùi pō͘. Tâi-oân goân-chū-bîn mā ēng chháu-á, ēng sé-á kek-chiú lâi chhiáⁿ lâng-kheh. Kap pa̍t-ūi sio-kâng, éng-kòe tī Tâi-oân chò-chiú sī lú-sèng ê khang-khòe. In chò-chiú lâi chú-chia̍h, mā chìm io̍h-chiú lâi pó sin-thé. Chit chi̍p lâi kóng kó-chá-lâng kek-chiú ê hong-hoat kap chit-ê kang-gē ê thoân-sêng. One of the oldest ways of making liquor was by chewing grain in the mouth. Taiwan’s Indigenous peoples also used plants and millet to brew liquor to serve their guests. As in other places, liquor-making in Taiwan used to be women’s work. They made liquor to cook with, and also infused herbal liquors as home remedies for their families.     雨傘王國

    往過全世界四支傘內底就有三支是台灣做的。台灣捌一冬出口九千六百萬支雨傘去九十外个國家。這集講戰後，佇五股的頭一間雨傘工廠、彰化和美家家戶戶做雨傘的經驗，嘛講工廠徙出去閣轉來的經過。對雨傘產業的起落，來看台灣的發展。 Éng-kòe choân-sè-kài 4 ki sòaⁿ lāi-té tō ū 3 ki sī Tâi-oân chò--ê. Tâi-oân bat chi̍t-tang chhut-kháu 9,600 bān ki hō͘-sòaⁿ khì 90 gōa ê kok-ka. Chit-tsi̍p kóng chiàn-āu, tī Gō͘-kó͘ ê thâu-chi̍t keng hō͘-sòaⁿ kang-tiûⁿ、Chiong-hoà Hô-bí ke-ke-hō͘-hō͘ chò hō͘-sòaⁿ ê keng-giām, mā kóng kang-tiûⁿ sóa chhut-khì koh tńg-lâi ê keng-koè. Tùi hō͘-sòaⁿ sán-gia̍p ê khí-lo̍h, lâi khòaⁿ Tâi-oân ê hoat-tián. Three out of every four umbrellas in the world used to be made in Taiwan, with 96 million exported a year to more than 90 countries. This episode follows the industry from the first postwar factory in Gō͘-kó͘ to Hô-bí in Chiong-hoà, where nearly every household made umbrellas, then to the factories that moved overseas and the few that came back.     414 無葡萄的紅酒

    臺灣人往過講的「紅酒」，毋是紅葡萄酒，是紅露酒。台灣啥物時陣有這款酒？紅酒按怎做？是按怎是紅色？這款日本時代的文人上佮意的酒，這馬猶有咧做，毋過已經較少人咧啉。這集來講台灣紅酒。 Tâi-oân lâng éng-koè kóng ê “âng-chiú”, m̄-sī âng phû-tô-chiú, sī âng-lō͘-chiú. Tâi-oân siáⁿ-mih sî-chūn ū chit khoán chiú? Âng-chiú án-chóa chò? Sī án-chóa sī âng-sek? Chit khoán Ji̍t-pún sî-tāi ê bûn-jîn siōng kah-ì ê chiú, chit-má iáu ū leh chò, m̄-koh í-keng khah chió lâng leh lim. Chit chi̍p lâi kóng Tâi-oân âng-chiú. In Taiwan, “red wine” used to mean something other than grape wine. It meant âng-lō͘-chiú (紅露酒), a red rice wine. When did it arrive in Taiwan? How is it made? Where does that red color come from? It was a favorite of poets during the Japanese colonial period, and it’s still being made today, though fewer people drink it now.     寶石珊瑚一冬大無一公分，欲大甲會使磨，閣刻做寶石，著愛等幾若十冬，甚至上百冬。台灣捌有上千間珊瑚工藝品店，遮的生理按怎無去？ 伊佮造礁珊瑚有啥物無仝？這集對日本時代講到今仔日，來聽寶石珊瑚的起落。 Pó-chio̍h soan-ô͘ chi̍t-tang tōa bô chi̍t kong-hun, beh tōa kah ē-sái bôa, koh khek chò pó-chio̍h, tio̍h ài tán kúi-nā cha̍p tang, sīm-chì chiūⁿ pah tang. Tâi-oân bat ū chiūⁿ chhian keng soan-ô͘ kang-gē-phín-tiàm, chia-ê seng-lí án-chóaⁿ bô khì? I kah chō-ta soan-ô͘ ū siáⁿ-mih bô-kâng? Chit chi̍p tùi Ji̍t-pún sî-tāi kóng kàu kin-á-ji̍t, lâi thiaⁿ pó-chio̍h soan-ô͘ ê khí-lo̍h. Precious coral grows less than one centimeter a year. It takes several decades, even a hundred years or more, before it is big enough to be polished and carved into gems. Taiwan once had over a thousand coral craft shops, so where did this business go? And how is precious coral different from reef-building coral?     411 納涼會變商展

    這陣暗時有夜市仔，百外冬前有納涼會。往過的納涼會有百百種。古早的納涼會有啥物好𨑨迌？按怎辦？按怎耍？這對日本來的娛樂活動按怎演變，沓沓變做台灣的商業活動？ 參考資料：陳毓婷〈日治時期臺灣的納涼會：以《臺灣日日新報》為主之探討（1902-1940）〉，國立暨南國際大學歷史學系碩士論文，2011年。 Chit-chūn àm-sî ū iā-chhī-á, pah-goā tang chêng ū nà-liâng-hoē. Éng-kòe ê nà-liâng-hoē pah-pah-chióng. Kó·-chá ê nà-liâng-hoē ū siáⁿ-mi̍h hó chhit-thô? Án-chóaⁿ pān? Án-chóaⁿ sńg? Che tùi Ji̍t-pún lâi ê ngô͘-lo̍k oa̍h-tōng án-chóaⁿ ián-piàn, ta̍uh-ta̍uh piàn-chò Tâi-oân ê siong-gia̍p oa̍h-tōng? These days there are night markets in the evening, and a hundred-odd years ago there were nà-liâng-hoē (cool-off gatherings). The nà-liâng-hoē of the past came in a hundred different kinds. What was fun about the nà-liâng-hoē of old? How were they organized? How did people play and enjoy themselves?     410 月球來的禮物

    月球的一塊石頭仔，對美國透過外交部送予台灣，這馬囥佇台中科博館。這集來講月球頂的石頭按怎佇台灣流浪？50冬後，台灣家己的探測儀按怎送去到月球？月球的土地生理有人咧做？落尾來講阿美族日頭佮月娘的神話。 Goe̍h-kiû ê chi̍t tè chio̍h-thâu-á, tuì Bí-kok thàu-kòe guā-kau-pōo sàng hōo Tâi-oân, chit-má khǹg tī Tâi-tiong Kho-phok-koán. A small piece of moon rock, sent from the U.S. to Taiwan through diplomatic channels, now rests quietly in the National Museum of Natural Science in Taichung. This episode follows how that rock made its way through different institutions in Taiwan. Fifty years later, how did Taiwan's own homegrown space probe make it all the way to the moon? And is anyone really out there selling lunar real estate?     409 台北大橋頭

    台北的第一座大橋，全長700公尺，是1889年劉銘傳為著大稻埕賣茶的生理起造。後來日本人改做鐵橋，號做台北大橋，是台北八景之一。這集講這座橋的身世，嘛講大橋頭的發展和佇戰後的變化；對大橋頭看台北市的歷史。 Tâi-pak ê tē-it chō tōa-kiô, choân-tn̂g chhit-pah kong-chhioh, sī 1889 nî Lâu Bêng-thoân uī-tio̍h Tōa-tiū-tiâⁿ bē-tê ê seng-lí khí-chō. Āu-lâi Ji̍t-pún-lâng kái-chò thih-kiô, hō-chò Tâi-pak Tāi-kiô, sī Tâi-pak Pat-kéng chi-it. Chit chi̍p kóng chit chō kiô ê sin-sè, mā kóng Tōa-kiô-thâu ê hoat-tián kah tī chiàn-āu ê piàn-hòa; tùi Tōa-kiô-thâu khòaⁿ Tâi-pak-chhī ê le̍k-sú. Taipei's first major bridge, 700 meters long in total, was built in 1889 by Lâu Bêng-thoân for the tea trade of Tōa-tiū-tiâⁿ. Later, the Japanese rebuilt it as an iron bridge and named it the Taipei Bridge, one of the "Eight Scenic Views of Taipei."
