While we operate mainly on YouTube and other video services, with this podcast we wan't to enable people to listen to a selection of both old and new interviews whenever and however they prefer. A short disclaimer: Because a lot of our interviews are conducted at festivals, music venues, hotels, restaurants, and the like, the quality of the audio isn't always in our full control, so please bare with us when the sound quality doesn't always match that of other podcasts.     In deze podcast praat Martin Kuiper met Rinus en Erik Kuylaars over het ontstaan van Rinus’Garage en hun samenwerking bij dit project. Ook is er aandacht voor de samenwerking met Triggerfinger, de eerste sessie voor Rinus’Garage, waar een nieuwe versie is opgenomen van The Wall of Dolls van Golden Earring uit 1970 een song geschreven door Rinus met tekst van Barry Hay. De track is onderdeel van Rinus’ Garage, het solo project van Rinus Gerritsen. Iedere maand brengt de voormalig bassist van Golden Earring een nieuw nummer uit, vaak met een gastzanger of zangeres. Bij elk nummer hoort een eigen podcast, waarin wordt gepraat over het ontstaan van de track. Iedere song heeft een uniek verhaal en een unieke muzikale kleur. In this podcast, Martin Kuiper speaks with Rinus and Erik Kuylaars about the origins of Rinus’Garage and their collaboration on the project. They also discuss the collaboration with Triggerfinger and the first Rinus’Garage session, which produced a new version of Golden Earring’s 1970 song "The Wall of Dolls"—a track written by Rinus with lyrics by Barry Hay. The song is part of *Rinus’ Garage*, Rinus Gerritsen’s solo project. Each month, the former Golden Earring bassist releases a new track, often featuring a guest vocalist. Each release is accompanied by a dedicated podcast discussing the track's creation; every song has a unique story and a distinctive musical character.
