Dr. Jyme, thank you & Stride animal health SO much for your podcast! It has done more for me than you could ever know🥰 First and foremost, I always want to do what’s best for my horses. Your podcast has validated and debunked many topics to help me narrow down what exactly is the best diet for my horses. Doing ALL. THE. THINGS. is not always what they need, but now I have a better understanding of the layers to their nutritional needs to solve a multitude of problems should they arise. After a stressful horse show with my young mare in the spring I was struggling to put weight back on her. Your podcast ideas helped me cook up a successful plan! I decided to put that to the test with another training horse and try to narrow down his gut health issues. I don’t remember what episode it was but you shared about being “too close” to the problem with your young one. Late at night hearing your story the solution for the horse was like light bulb moment ! I was doing so much for stomach buffering…. Maybe it’s not working because it’s hind gut …. 3 days on pro biotic he was a different horse !!! The next thing your incredible podcast did for me was keep me feeling like I’m doing something positive to help my horses during a time of injury. One had time off for ligament injury and I would listen while I groomed her or did her pemf treatment, the other horse punctured his knee so as I would hand walk him for inflammation I felt like I was also building my education to make a better life for them when they were back in work. Of course they were hurt at the same time🤦🏻♀️so late night treatments after work your podcast kept me going as I would hand walk them at 11pm. Often it was what made time pass quickly after a long day and frustration of trying to help them be pain free. I appreciate your love for science, your passion for horses and your willingness to share this with the rest of us 🥰 Sincerely some of your biggest fans, Colleen & Pumpkin Spice.
