Prima di tutto vi spiego cosa significa la parola rionale. È un aggettivo e viene dalla parola “rione” che è una parte di una città, un po come un quartiere (Viertel, Stadtteil/district). quarter). Una città è suddivisa in molte zone e ogni zona è un quartiere, un rione e ogni rione ha un mercato. Il mercato nelle città di solito c’è due volte alla settimana, è bisettimanale. Per esempio nel mio quartiere c’è il mercato il mercoledì e il sabato mattina, due volte alla settimana. Il mercoledì e il sabato: quando il giorno della settimana ha l’articolo determinativo significa che è una cosa che si ripete, in questo caso ogni mercoledì o tutti i mercoledì e tutti i sabati: il mercoledì e il sabato. Nelle città piccole il mercato è settimanale, cioè c’è una volta sola alla settimana, oppure nei quartieri, nei rioni grandi e nel centro della città anche giornaliero, cioè c’è tutti i giorni. Siamo quasi alla fine dell’estate e quasi tutti hanno anche finito le vacanze. Io sono appena tornata da una bella vacanza in Grecia. Sono stata sulla bellissima isola di Santorini. Lì ci sono dei panorami bellissimi, il mare è pulito, c’è sempre il sole, ci si può abbronzare, ma, ma c’è anche molto vento. Questo mi ha dato l’idea di parlare dei diversi nomi dei venti che ci sono nel Mediterraneo e che tipo di influenza hanno sul clima anche in Italia. In questo episodio vi parlo di uno scrittore molto amato, Andrea Camilleri, che sicuramente conoscete perché è l’autore del commissario Montalbano. Voglio parlarvi della sua vita, del suo lavoro e alla fine darvi anche qualche titolo, qualche consiglio di lettura per l’estate. Andrea Camilleri nasce il 6 settembre del 1925 a Porto Empedocle, in Sicilia, vicino alla città di Agrigento, vicino al luogo dove è nato Luigi Pirandello, altro grande della letteratura italiana, che era, tra l’altro, cugino della nonna paterna. Ha due fratelli e il padre è ispettore del lavoro portuale di Porto Empedocle e fascista della prima ora, mentre la madre è una donna molto religiosa e per questo motivo gli mette come secondo nome „Calogero“, il nome del santo che viene celebrato nel giorno della nascita di Camilleri.È una famiglia benestante e può far studiare i figli.
