    Belinda Botzolis: How she got started on Tiktok

    Belinda has a degree in property economics and has close to 20 years of experience in the industry.  She initially ventured into the world of Tik Tok as a creative release in March 2021 (only three months ago). Starting off posting about her life, after five videos, she was quick to start posting videos about her experience in the real estate industry. She has quickly amassed over 40k followers and her last 12 videos has an average of 20k views per video. She is now looking for ways to leverage this audience and possibly monetize but for now she is building loyalty and engagement with her community with one of her videos consisting of 435 comments.

    Why you need respond to Tiktok comments using video: 1) Increased FYP engagement 2) Build community

    Exert from a Clubhouse room I was in. The question that was asked was, do I need to respond to every single comment on Tiktok. I don't understand why people dont respond to comments on their social media. Actually, I know why, you don't want to look silly. YOU NEED TO FORGET THIS MENTALITY. Respond to comments using video is your oxygen and also is not offered on any other platform.

    Bruno is a businessman and the owner of Merlai, a brand that specialises in custom made menswear based out of Brisbane, Australia. Bruno’s first introduction to the world of tailoring happened in Florence (Italy), and his teacher was nonna Ester Merlai, which gives the name to our custom made menswear brand.  He also has a degree in marketing and has been able to grow an audience of close to 10k in just less than a year on Tik Tok.  I’m looking forward to hearing more about his origin story and how he was navigating his career before opening up Merlai for business to where he is today.

    The Power of the Tik Tok Algorithm

    One video can change it all. Personally I'm not about the one hit wonders but this is a great story of businesses accidently being impacted by the power of the Tik Tok algorithm. Goes to show what happens by accident, imagine what would happen if there was a strategy in place for your business?
