    A lawyer, politician and senator representing Movement for Democratic Change in parliament. Mwonzora is a former Secretary General of the MDC Alliance before he lost to Charlton Hwende in the 2019 Congress held in Gweru.  He was the COPAC Co-Chairperson representing the opposition parties in the drafting of the new constitution in 2013, the other chairperson being Zanu-PF's Paul Mangwana.  He is a former Member of Parliament, Nyanga North Zimbabwe and a former Law Lecturer Today we talk about Mwonzora and get to understand him a little bit better........

    An American government official and diplomat serving as the 71st United States secretary of state since January 26, 2021. Advocated for the 2003 invasion of Iraq while serving as the Democratic staff director of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 2002 to 2008. Helped craft U.S. policy on Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the nuclear program of Iran. Was a member of the National Security Council (NSC) staff from 1994 to 2001; supported the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003. In formulating Biden's support for the U.S. invasion of Iraq, with Blinken characterized the vote to invade Iraq as "a vote for tough diplomacy". In the years following the U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq, Blinken assisted Biden in formulating a failed proposal in the Senate to establish in Iraq three independent regions divided along ethnic or sectarian lines: a "Shiastan" in the south, a "Sunnistan" in the north, as well as Iraqi Kurdistan. Welcome to the world of Anthony Blinken who from 2009 to 2013, was Deputy Assistant to the President and National Security Advisor to the Vice President. In this position he helped craft U.S. policy on Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the nuclear program of Iran. Supported the 2011 military intervention in Libya; a well as the supply of weapons to Syrian rebels.     According Cde ED Mnangagwa.......... Government will leave no stone unturned in transforming Zimbabwe into a knowledge driven and industrialised Upper Middle Income Economy by 2030. Vision 2030 supposedly reflects the collective aspirations and determination of the people of Zimbabwe towards a Prosperous Upper Middle Income Nation by 2030. Vision 2030 paints a vision of guiding the Transitional Stabilisation Programme (2018-2020), and successive Five-Year Medium-Term Development Strategies (2021-2025) and (2026- 2030) to success. Vision 2030 seeks to fundamentally transform Zimbabwe to an upper middle income economy,with a per capita Gross National Income of over US$5000 in real terms by 2030, from the current US$1 440. The key aspirations of Zimbabwe Vision 2030 will be realised through five strategic Pillars, namely: Governance; Macro-economic Stability and Financial Re-engagement; Inclusive Growth; Infrastructure and Utilities; and Social Development. Today we delve into this policy document and direct it to see if it holds water.

She is known to be one of the youngest Zimbawean members of parliament, representing Harare West. born in Harare on June 18, 1993. She had her secondary education at Monte Cassino Girls High School where she graduated in 2011. She proceeded to Chinhoyi University of Technology and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology. While at the university, she served as Gender Officer for the Zimbabwe National Students Union (ZINASU). After graduating from Chinhoyi University of Technology , she furthered at University of Bergen in Norway where she attained a Masters Degree in Molecular Biology. Mamombe joined politics after completing her studies in Norway and returning to Zimbabwe in 2018. In that same year, she was elected as the member of parliament representing Harare West under the ticket of the MDC Alliance.
