Heidi Tann new release, new event and new projects

As she developed her voice and craft over the years, she has set her sights on releasing an album that reflects her musical style—smooth and pop jazz, with a mix of bossa nova and Latin jazz, plus R&B. Heidi is no stranger to performing in international venues. After completing her bachelor’s degree from Manila at age 22, she immediately chased her dream, embarking on solo gigs throughout Asia. This path saw her performing in musical venues in Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Guam. New release “Coffee on Your Sleeves,” featuring acclaimed saxophonist Tony Exum Jr. The song was written by me, produced by Bobby Gomez, LaVelle Powell, and me, with Bruno Nesci on guitar and Frank Reina on drums. It was mastered by Grammy-winning engineer and producer Pete Tokar.The next major live event is the Silk n’ Soul Album Release Show on September 20, 2026, at The View Music Bar in Torrance, California. I’ll perform with Nils, legendary trumpeter Tom Browne, saxophonists Mo Louis and Tony Exum Jr., along with other special guests. The red-carpet event will be presented and televised by Keymark Television Network. Heidi's upcoming album, Silk n’ Soul, blends contemporary smooth jazz, soul, R&B, pop, bossa nova, and adult contemporary music. It features collaborations with Nils, Tom Browne, Mo Louis, and Tony Exum Jr. I’m also developing “Closer,” an exciting new collaboration featuring Tom Browne, along with additional music and live-performance projects. Veteran Saxophonist Mekiel Rueben on new album

The Chicago born native became interested in music at the early age of eight yrs. old. Mekiel is influenced by the community, culture and sounds of his hometown Chicago to a fruitful life in the Caribbean. As a young man, he was drawn to music.
