    What We Do In The Shadows S2 E9&10 Recap & After Show: "The vampires are cursed by a Mailer Daemon"

    Nandor (Kayvan Novak) wishes to keep up with correspondences and check his email inbox from the last decade. Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) sets up a laptop for him before setting out to infiltrate the vampire hunting club. Nandor finds a chain email claiming to be a curse from Bloody Mary, inciting a panic throughout the household to forward it and break the curse before dawn. Guillermo learns the Claude (Craig Robinson) and the mosquito club is setting out for their first hunt hoping to slay the vampires that sired Jenna, which incites panic in Guillermo. He calls to warn Nandor and company, leaving a threatening message through their phone but only furthers their curse superstition. When the club arrives, he's relieved it is a different house, but still nervous when the party commits breaking and entertaining, and soon terrified when he and Shanice (Veronika Slowikowska) discover the house is filled with horrifying vampires from the 1970s. Guillermo manages to escape unharmed, but returns to save most of the group. He finally returning home to settle the fears of his vampire friends, while covered in vampire blood.     What We Do In The Shadows S2 E8 Recap & After Show: Guillermo Finds a New Master

    Laszlo discovers a song he wrote in 1852 became the 1980s hit "Come On Eileen", inspiring a return to he and Nadja's songwriting pasttime. After bickering through revisions of their old favorites, Colin Robinson arranges for them to perform for an open mic night as an opportunity to feed on people's anger and boredom. The house is visited by an old man who introduces himself to Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) as Nandor's familiar, Benji (Jack O' Connell) which he was during the 70s before Nandor wiped his memory and dropped him off at a Delaware rest stop. At a familiar mixer with Benji, Guillermo finds fellow familiar, now turned vampire, Celeste (Greta Lee) and over small talk learn she staffs several familiars with a guarantee of sireing them after eight months, but won't poach Guillermo. Upon returning home, he questions Nandor (Kayvan Novak) as to whether he ever intended to make him a vampire, which sparks a falling out between the two. Nandor soon visits Guillermo at his new abode, finding he is happy having a nice, spacious room and being treated with respect, while he himself is once again annoyed by Benji's nagging attitude and lack of service. Unfortunately for Guillermo, Celeste turned out to be a fraud, hosting parties at her master's house while she was out of town, but while he was on the run from her crew, he was approached by Nandor who agreed to treat him better and fulfill his promise one day.     What We Do In The Shadows S2 E7 Recap & After Show: Lazlo's Cursed Hat Rears Its Ugly Head

    Lazlo (Matt Berry) is once again sought out by someone from his past, this time Simon the Devious (Nick Kroll), who has lost his home, club, and most of his crew, leaving him to live in the sewer. Taking pity on him, Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) haphazardly invites him to their house, an offer Simon takes advantage of before they even make it home. One of his remaining entourage, Carol (Christine Ebadi) sniffs out Guillermo as a vampire slayer and increasingly stalks him as prey, until he accidentally stakes her. Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) discovers the ease of draining riled victims through the internet and creates several online profiles in the aim of getting strangers mad. Ultimately, this backfires as he gets caught up in an online argument with what turns out to be an actual troll. Simon calls a house meeting to thank everyone for their hospitality despite Carol's sudden absence and Lazlo's accusation that Simon is trying to once again steal his cursed hat, which is true. Lazlo and Simon steal the hat back and forth from one another and fight as bats all the way down into the bowels of the sewer where Simon's full entourage is waiting for them. Simon rants about his desire for his hat being his greatest want in life, so everyone stops caring about him and walks away, leaving him stuck in a sinking grate. A "duel" is called but Laz runs, er... flies to Pennsylvania where he takes on a new persona as "Jackie Daytona," bartender and proprietor of "Lucky Brew's Bar & Grill." Laz falls in love with the local Girls' Volleyball team and raises money for their trip to the State finals. Unfortunately, a fight in the bar with "Jim the Vampire" destroys the money that was raise.     To the dismay of Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch), he is offered a promotion, and with his new workplace power Colin is able to drain a captive audience. Returning home to find the household changing out the wall art, they dismiss Colin's chit chat for attempting to drain them. Excluded by his friends, Colin fully embraces his managerial position until it goes to his head. Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) discovers a painting of her childhood village's destruction includes Nandor the Relentless (Kayvan Novak), inciting a viscious argument from Nadja, which Colin gleefully feeds on downstairs. After his frenzy, Colin has developed terrifying new abilities, including splitting himself into three Colin Robinsons to hold his roommates hostage and drain them into old age.     Brain Scramblies - S2 E3 'What We Do In The Shadows' Recap & After Show

    The vampires are excited to attend the Superbowl party hosted by their human neighbor, Sean (Anthony Atamanuik), which the Europeans of the group have confused for a "Superb Owl" party. Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) spends time with the women at the party, including the little girl she used to play with years ago, now grown into an old woman. Sean makes an offhand jest that his neighbors only come out at night and must be vampires, an idea Lazlo and Nandor take seriously enough to erase with double-hypnosis. The act proves far too effective and leaves Sean a scrambled mess of a person. Meanwhile, Guillermo (Harvey Guillen) attends an open event for a group of mosquito enthusiasts in the hopes of obtaining virgins for his masters. The group turns out to be a cover for a vampire hunting club who are taking a strong liking to Guillermo. Back with Sean, the vampires attempt to give him the best night of his life before doing the humane act of killing him. Their efforts backfire completely, but Sean falls head over heels in love with the woman he has forgotten is his wife and they all agree that the moment is too sweet to spoil with murder.     Who Doesn't Love A Good Topher? - S2 E1 & E2 'What We Do In The Shadows' After Show

    What We Do in the Shadows season 2, episodes 1 and 2 "Ressurection" and "Ghosts" The vampire housemates recount highlights from the last few months to us, particularly Lazlo and Nadja's trouble keeping a new familiar alive, before landing on house newcomer, Topher (Haley Joel Osment). Everyone is thrilled to have Topher except Guillermo, who's been working double time slaying vampire assassins breaking into the house. Topher's inexperience gets the best of him when he accidentally kills himself in the yard. Dismayed by the loss of their new favorite person, the vampires visit Nadja's necromancer friend, Wallace (Bendict Wong), to ressurrect Topher. As Lazlo suspected, Wallace is a charlatan and the spell turns Topher into a zombie, further stressing Guillermo. In the following episode, the house is infested with ghosts. After being mocked by the men during her seance, Nadja discovers it's her old lover Jeff (Jake McDorman) who is haunting them. Now that they know ghosts are real, the vampires ponder whether their undead selves also have ghosts, and successfully summon them. Each gets to know their incoporal counterpart and helps them fulfill their unfinished business, to varying degrees of success.
