Decoding Devs Podcast

I started watching DEVS this week because of the Post Show Recap podcast about the show Severance. They are doing a monthly episode where they vote on watching another show that feels Severance adjacent, and they voted for DEVS. I never heard of the show until this vote and since Severance is amazing I’m totally interested in something related. So I’m on episode 2 of DEVS. I could tell I was gonna need a companion podcast because of how dense the show is. I’m only half way through your first episode and I’m impressed. If it weren’t for you both, I’d have missed so many details. I had no idea how much meaning lies in the music and placement of everything. I’ll definitely be paying more attention and maybe even rewatch the first two episodes. They way you two discuss the details reminds me of another podcast that covers the German show, Dark, on Netflix. I’m curious if you have seen that show because it’s a three season show that has so many metaphors and everything has meaning from shapes, colors, music etc. It was obviously written as one story and planned out into three seasons. I’m wondering if you’ve seen it because I think you both would appreciate it. I’m looking forward to finishing this show! Thank you for this podcast:)
