I just finished listening to the first episode on Being Prepared and I absolutely loved it! Courtney does an amazing job of sharing doctrine, scriptures, quotes and personal experiences along with applications that I wouldn’t have thought about on my own. She has clearly thought about this a lot and I felt spiritual inspiration and nudging to think about these things more fully and apply them better in my life.
I love the doctrines and principles taught in the General Conference talks themselves, but I often feel guilty by not studying them enough. Even when I listen to them over again, I often feel guilty that I’m not sitting down at a table, taking notes and planning and preparing ways that I can implement those inspired changes right then. But I am a busy woman and I don’t often have time to do that! Then I feel guilty because I haven’t done it! Listening to Courtney’s podcast while I was getting ready in the morning was a perfect balance of allowing me to multi-task while listening to her diligent studies and her inspiration. Now, when I go back to listen to the talk myself, I’ll have some additional insight to help me listen to further inspiration. And even if I’m not able to do an I’m depth personal study and evaluation of each talk, I have had the chance to hear further insight!
Thank you, Courtney! This is wonderful!
