    Green Pastures & Quiet Waters

    Sheep can't sleep unless the conditions around them are perfect. Otherwise, they are restless, fearful, and discontent. It is the Shepherd's job to find a place for them to rest and the sheep's job to keep their eye on the Shepherd as he leads them. We too have to keep our eyes on the Lord in order to have rest in seasons where it seems like it's impossible to have peace and be still. Conversations w/ Heidi Reiszner", I will be teaching a 6-week study on a very familiar & loved Psalm - "Psalm 23: The Lord is my Shepherd".  For Week 1 of Bible Study, Mrs. Heidi takes us through what it looks like for the Lord to not only be our Savior but to also be our Shephard. In the natural, sheep are completely dependent upon their Shephard for their livelihood and well being. The sheep completely trust their Shephard to tend to them, lead, care, and provide for them, etc. Do we allow the Lord to do the same for us and are we satisfied where our good Shephard leads us?

    Would Someone Please Tell Me What To Do?!...Some thoughts about this most unusual season

    In order for things to grow, both in the natural and the spiritual, branches have to be pruned back. If the necessary work and pruning didn’t take place in the winter, we would never see the beautiful fruit and growth that comes in the spring. God is the master gardener and He knows what’s best for us in each and every season we walk through. He is more near and involved than ever before as he prepares us for whatever may be ahead. We hope this episode brings encouragement to you as Mrs. Heidi gives us a great perspective on some things God may be saying to us during this unusual season.
