Is Spotify Evil? Billion Dollar Buyback + A Metal Band Sues Netflix Over KPop Demon Hunters + More!

Spotify’s board just signed off on another $1.5 billion stock buyback, so their total buyback authorization is now around $2.2 billion. Meanwhile, they keep bumping up subscriber prices, but artists are still getting fractions of a cent per stream. We’re digging into why that’s a problem, and we’ve got a few other stories this week you should check out.
