Parenting Hell with Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe

“Not a parent but…” this show isn’t really just about parenting (especially the eps without guests). These wizards have gotten me deeply invested in all their mundanities, including Bin Gate and the radiator situation. The real hell is the one Josh continually makes for himself, and how relatable is that? The heaven is zen laddie Rob laughing at him and quoting stoic philosophy alongside saying someone’s “got the hump.” Love and thanks from an American who once lived in England and who still finds comfort in its comedy (and tea)

I hate ads and always skip them. Unfortunately, this podcast has decided to embed ads within the banter itself. Sadly, this doesn’t coerce me to listen to the ad; it causes me to delete the podcast. It’s a shame, because these excellent comedians are very successful. They were doing just fine without compromising the art.

I look forward to this podcast 2x a week. I am an American and Josh and Rob are getting me through life with laughs.

Or, good when it’s about parenting. But at some point it’s just them moaning again about being on tour and tv. Maybe don’t record a podcast if you’re exhausted but I guess their sponsors and distributors need them to show up anyway, so let’s just keep complaining about what cities they’ve driven to this week interspersed with sighing about how tired they are.
