    255. It Would Have Been Sufficient

In this episode, I invite you into a beautiful part of the Passover tradition called Dayenu—a song of overwhelming gratitude that declares "it would have been enough." As we approach Easter and Passover, I share how this tradition can transform the way we remember God's faithfulness, not just in the big Red Sea moments, but in the everyday manna moments too. Key Points Dayenu is a Passover song meaning "it would have been enough"—an expression of overwhelming gratitudeJesus sang these hymns at the Last Supper, connecting Passover to His sacrifice as the spotless LambThe wine represents Jesus's blood; the bread (matzah) represents His body broken for usGratitude and worship don't just lift our spirits—they help regulate our nervous systemGod provides both Red Sea moments (the big breakthroughs) and everyday manna moments (daily provision) What Is Your Dayenu? If you sat at a table with loved ones, what would your list be? The Practice: "If You had only ________, it would have been enough. But then You also ________." Examples: If God had only paid my bills that month, dayenu—it would have been enoughIf God had only given me healing, dayenu—it would have been enoughIf God had only showed up in that moment, dayenu—it would have been enough This Week's Invitation Choose one of these practices to remind yourself of God's faithfulness: Journal Method: Write out your own Dayenu list—all the ways you've witnessed God's goodness firsthandPost-It Note Method: Write 3 things God has done on sticky notes and place them on your bathroom mirror, coffee pot, or car dashboardSpoken Gratitude: Say out loud throughout your day: "If You had only ________, it would have been sufficient" Practice recognizing both the big Red Sea moments AND the everyday manna moments where God provides. Reflection Questions What are three specific moments where you've seen God's faithfulness with your own eyes?Where do you need to be reminded of God's character, glory, and beauty right now? What everyday manna moments (small, daily provisions) can you thank God for today? Journal Prompts Complete this sentence 5-10 times: "If You had only ________, it would have been enough. But then You also ________."What Red Sea moments (big breakthroughs) has God brought you through? What manna moments (daily provision) are you overlooking that deserve gratitude? 253. Jump Ship: A Rock of Remembrance

Have you ever felt a wild nudge in your spirit to let go of something familiar and leap into the unknown with God? In this episode, Kristin shares one of her most cherished Rocks of Remembrance — a marker of God's faithfulness that she and her husband have carried through multiple seasons of bold, Spirit-led risk. It's called Jump Ship. And it might be exactly what you needed to hear today. In this episode you'll discover: What a Rock of Remembrance is and why we need them The Jump Ship story — what it means to take a full, courageous leap of faith with God Why a half-hearted surrender will get you hurt and what full surrender actually looks like The powerful God-confirmation moment at a retreat that marked this rock forever How Joshua and Caleb show us what it looks like to fight for our inheritance with courage and community Why we all need a Caleb — someone who speaks hope when the waves feel overwhelming This week's invitation: Take some time this week to sit quietly with the Lord and ask Him — is there a Jump Ship moment He is inviting me into right now? Write down what comes up. Then ask — who is my Caleb in this season? Reach out to that person this week and share where you are. Journal prompts: What ship have I been standing on that feels familiar and comfortable but God may be asking me to leave? Where have I experienced God's faithfulness in a past leap of faith? What would full surrender look like for me right now — not half-hearted, but all in? Reflection question: In what ways have you taken a risk or a leap of faith and witnessed God's faithfulness on the other side?
