The next day, the innkeeper reveals that a woman had hanged herself in that very room three years before, and CCTV footage confirmed the shadow’s unnerving proximity—causing the man to swear off isolated inns forever. The program then transitions to additional stories from the hosts: an encounter in a Hong Kong hotel with a half-transparent elderly figure; a wedding-hotel incident where everyone suffered unexplained insomnia, irritability, and even the newlyweds’ sudden personality changes, later linked to a tragic past event in the building; and a dramatic tale of playing “dish spirit” (Die Xian), where a summoned “nineteen-year-old girl” spirit allegedly caused whispered voices at night and even flung a metal bucket at someone during a cleansing ritual.
