A guest at a historic Bangkok hotel heard rhythmic knocks on the door for several nights in a row — yet each time he opened it, no one was there, only damp footprints on the carpet and the reflection of a woman in traditional Thai attire appearing in the bathroom mirror;an employee working alone in a company storeroom saw the restroom door — which had been hooked open — slowly close by itself, followed by the sound of a flushing toilet, while a handheld device switched on without reason, and a colleague with yin-yang sight later revealed it was the spirit of the boss’s late daughter still wandering inside;a night-shift driver picked up two female passengers, but during a video call a child insisted there was an extra “auntie in white” beside the mother — the next day a woman from the same car was rushed to hospital after sudden convulsions, and a forgotten lipstick was found on the seat, eerily linking the events together. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

After a year of separation, a woman begins seeing her ex-boyfriend repeatedly near her workplace and outside her home. It is only after calling the police that she learns the truth from his mother — he had already passed away in a traffic accident months earlier. The smile that once filled her with fear later feels painfully full of longing. During an overseas trip, a group checks into an old hotel. Late at night, soft footsteps of a child and the sound of fingers tapping on a table echo through the room, as if someone is running and playing nearby. Everything only falls silent after a protective talisman is tightly held. At an old hospital in Singapore’s east, a man staying overnight dreams of an elderly woman walking quickly toward him, smiling warmly. Moments later, he wakes to nurses panicking outside, whispering, “The auntie who always smiles at us…” — and realises his dream may have crossed into reality. At a secondary school camp, students gather in a dark classroom to share ghost stories. In the back row, an unfamiliar glow appears, as though someone is quietly sitting and listening. Several seniors see it too, yet no one dares to speak — until it disappears on its own. At a food factory, strange incidents return after ritual offerings are halted. Machines malfunction without reason, surveillance cameras behave abnormally, and workers report seeing spirits. One employee even dreams of a female entity staring at him, before a tragic accident triggers fear throughout the entire factory. In another home, friends repeatedly encounter a dark shadow in the bathroom. When one of them finally sees a figure hanging from the ceiling, the truth is revealed — a former occupant had once taken their own life there. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Dennis Chew aka Mr. Zhou opens with a chilling real account from a Japanese mountain-valley hot-spring inn, where a man staying in a quiet, old wooden room is awakened by gentle knocking; when he opens the door, the corridor is empty, yet he soon sees a distorted shadow with long, wet hair projected on a wall near the women’s bath, and watches in terror as the shadow slowly approaches and appears right at his doorway, leaving him frozen until morning. The next day, the innkeeper reveals that a woman had hanged herself in that very room three years before, and CCTV footage confirmed the shadow’s unnerving proximity—causing the man to swear off isolated inns forever. The program then transitions to additional stories from the hosts: an encounter in a Hong Kong hotel with a half-transparent elderly figure; a wedding-hotel incident where everyone suffered unexplained insomnia, irritability, and even the newlyweds’ sudden personality changes, later linked to a tragic past event in the building; and a dramatic tale of playing “dish spirit” (Die Xian), where a summoned “nineteen-year-old girl” spirit allegedly caused whispered voices at night and even flung a metal bucket at someone during a cleansing ritual. Listeners also submit military-camp stories, including one soldier being pushed down a staircase by an unseen force after playing Die Xian, and another who fell ill after a teammate saw a semi-transparent shadow standing behind him “absorbing something.” The episode concludes with the full team giving heartfelt year-end messages and announcing that Zhou Gong Jiang Gui will pause for three weeks before returning in 2026. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The episode features an old legend from Bremen, Germany, about the “Street of Ghost Children,” where people claim to hear laughter, running footsteps, and toys falling on their own late at night—said to be the restless spirits of children who died during a historic plague. The show then moves on to real supernatural encounters shared by listeners and the hosts: a man living alone repeatedly finds a mysterious red plastic ring and suspects it to be a sign from his late ex-girlfriend; someone is jolted awake by an icy presence and faint whispers; an office restroom keeps flushing with unexplained sighs; villagers hear chains dragging at night, believed to signal an upcoming death; festival-goers capture the figures of “ox-head and horse-face” on their phones, only for the image to vanish later; a shopping mall photo reveals three sinister female spirits behind a girl; cyclists near an old cemetery spot glowing eyes watching them from the bushes; and a TV staff member working late encounters a headless figure in traditional opera costume inside the restroom. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
