Bishop Booker T  Rice, Jr. has led in a milieu of rooms from civic boards to interfaith cohorts to ecumenical colloquiums his leadership has risen to the top. He is the fourth child of Booker and Elizabeth Rice’s six children and is affectedly known as “Butchie”. Booker attended Brighten Jr. Academy. He spent his high school years at Pine Forge Academy in Pottstown, PA. After graduating from Pine Forge, he attended Oakwood University and graduated in 1974 with Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and Biblical Languages. He has a Masters of Divinity from Andrews University.
