    NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD YOU: And That's Okay

    Send us Fan Mail Someone recently told me my prices were outrageous. And do you know what? It sparked a conversation that I think every woman running her own business needs to hear. It all started with a free tarot reading on TikTok, and it got me thinking about how much power we still give to other people's opinions of our prices. Someone tells us they can't afford to work with us, or that we're too expensive, and suddenly we're questioning everything. Should we lower our prices? Offer something cheaper? Give them a discount? Perhaps we should make ourselves more accessible? But here's the thing. Not everyone is going to be able to afford you. And that's okay. In this week's episode of Soulful Badass, we're talking about money, pricing and why trying to make your business affordable for absolutely everybody can end up costing you far more than you realise. I'm sharing why affordability is subjective, how our desire to help people can sometimes turn into overgiving, and why there's such an important difference between charging for your time and charging for the value, experience and transformation you bring to someone's life or business. Because whether you're a coach, a tarot reader, a mentor, an artist or someone building an entirely different kind of business, people aren't simply buying an hour of your time. They're buying what that experience means to them, what they receive from it and the difference it can make. And when you start looking at your pricing from that perspective, something changes. You stop feeling as though you have to justify every pound you charge, and you start recognising that the right clients don't need you to be the cheapest option. They need you to be the right person for them. We're also exploring why higher prices can sometimes create a different level of commitment, why giving everything away isn't necessarily helping anybody, and how to build a business where your pricing supports both your clients and the life you actually want to live. Because you didn't start your business to become the most affordable person in your industry. You started it to do incredible work and create success on your terms.     Stop Shrinking: You Can't Manifest Bigger Success While Playing Small

Watering down what we really want to say because someone might disagree. Undercharging because we're worried people won't buy. Avoiding video until we feel more confident. Sitting in rooms full of incredible people and somehow still feeling like we don't belong. And the frustrating thing? We can be doing all the work to grow our businesses while simultaneously holding ourselves back from the very success we're trying to create. I share some of my own experiences of shrinking in business, why taking up space is about so much more than being confident or visible, and what changes when you finally allow people to see the full expression of who you are.     LET YOURSELF: What If You Finally Let Yourself Be You?

    Send us Fan Mail How much of yourself have you been editing without even realising it? As women, we’re surrounded by invisible rules about who we should be. Don’t be too loud. Don’t take up too much space. Be sensible. Be a good partner. Be a good mother. Don’t disappoint anyone. Don’t change your mind. And definitely don’t make anyone else uncomfortable. Eventually, nobody else needs to tell us the rules anymore. We start enforcing them ourselves. In this episode, I’m talking about what happens when you stop. When you let yourself laugh too loudly, dance badly, wear the thing, spend money on yourself, eat alone, say no, change your mind and do more of what you actually enjoy. And this goes much deeper than having more fun. It’s letting yourself be visible. Charge more. Make more money. Be bloody brilliant at what you do. Build your business your way. Stop working so hard. Become someone you haven’t been before. Not because you’re trying to become somebody else. Because you’re finally letting yourself be more of YOU.
