Completely Rewrote My Expectations for Immersive Audio Adventure.
From the first few whispy notes of serene dream-like atmosphere, to the surprisingly adept cast of fresh voices, to the whimsical narrative frought with inside-shrieking-out dread... this show is one that not only sets the bar for scripted independent audio fiction, but it completely rewrote the book of expectations you might have for audio drama and sci-fi.
Each scene unwraps like a thick juicy onion - every layer is a dense, delightful puzzle begging to be solved. As one is delicately peeled away, more unpredictable droves of terror-framed odyssey are revealed. What’s even better - is all the intricacies and hidden nuances placed throughout- even in the 60-second preview and the first few seconds of ep.1! Pieces of this grand puzzle are placed everywhere - you may want to relisten again and again to truly obtain lore beyond even the most awarded of audio fiction!! Speaking of awards - it’d be a crime if this show doesn’t nab a few.
Don’t pass this one up, it’s got something to offer listeners of all kinds. I can only hope many more seasons are in store!
Oh, and to think this ENTIRE SHOW was made by ONE GUY - mind-blowing. The world is lucky to have a visionary like Jet, and we’re lucky to take part in these amazing adventures.
