    Your journey is healing. You are where you are supposed to be to get to where you are going. Every step you have a choice. One of your choices is the energy you want to be in. So no matter where you are on your journey you have the choice to show up how you want to be. Do you want to be unhappy, angry, mad or do you want to be happy, filled with love, and at peace? Choosing a higher vibration energy will help you move through love. Lead you to a path of happiness even in your darkest days.     Collective Healing Starts with Awareness

    Healing starts with going within ourselves, but we can step up and heal the collective even greater. I feel that sometimes the spiritual community puts their heads in the sand like an ostrich. They stay focused on the higher vibration and create their own little bubble not paying attention to what is going on in their family, community, city, state, country, and collective. In my opinion it is hurting the growth of our collective and is not helping to raise the collective vibration. It is almost like we are leaving people behind because we don’t want to deal with their vibration anymore now that we have raised our vibrations. That doesn’t sit well with me. It doesn’t align with my integrity. It feels like the light is trying to shine its light over the dark instead of embracing the dark and integrating the darkness into the light. Allowing the darkness into the light and bringing light to it not covering it with light raises our vibration even higher.The darkness allows us to heal. It brings about big changes and helps us to see the light even more. Light and dark is in every one of us. We are not separate from it just like we are not separate from the collective. I get as a sensitive empath not wanting to watch the news because it takes a toll on me but not being aware of what is going on in the collective in a detriment to our collective and self-healing. This may sound harsh and if it does, I want you to take some time and to go inward and figure out why that is. I believe the healing starts with you. I will always believe that healing self helps heal the collective, but we can help heal greater when we become aware of what is going on in the collective. That means listening to people and communities. We all come from our own perspective and have things to add to the collective. We may not always agree but we should listen because you can learn a lot and it will help you to understand and be more compassionate to yourself and others. We are stronger together. We can heal together. As we heal together you will also heal yourself. By doing so you will help raise the collective vibration. But if you are ignoring the World around you then you are missing a greater opportunity.     Understanding and Appreciation of Self

    As I reflect on this last year, I wanted to share some things that I have overcome and learned about myself. What I am not willing to put up with. Putting myself 1st because I found areas where I wasn't and how it was affecting me. Listen to my body on a deeper level. Understand what my body is telling Resting even when I didn't want to rest but my being was like rest. Appreciation for when someone was showing me something I was ready to heal. Taking the time to heal and going back to where the healing had to happen. Communication, Communication, communication  Embracing all parts of me. Becoming the most comfortable I have ever been with myself.  Which took a lot of love and acceptance of me. As I read back the list it almost sounds like nothing new but I have such a deeper understanding and appreciation for my journey and healing I know I have taken it to another level. Life is a journey of evolution, growth, and understanding and each circle around the sun we have an opportunity to do this. May this next year bring me more love, happiness, understanding, and healing.  I look forward to stepping more into my power. Spreading Love, Valeri

    Cure vs Heal

    There is a difference between healing and curing.  Although they are connected, and healing may result into curing it is not the same.  Here is a quote, "Curing means "eliminating all evidence of disease," while healing means "becoming whole."  When you heal you may cure something within you but that is not always the case.  When you cure yourself from a disease or a habit it doesn't mean you are healed. You can quit smoking, but you may be miserable and unhappy about it because you haven't healed. What is causing the unhappiness? Is it because you found pleasure in smoking or is it because now you are facing something without having the security of the cigarette? This is just an example.   Healing is about coming back to wholeness and integrity within you.  A side effect of healing is that you may not have stomach pain any more or it may be that you changed how you react to the stomach pain.    Healing is always about you and no one else.     Listen with an open heart. It didn't like that it wasn't line up "perfectly." However, the more I sat with it the more I began to get comfortable with it.
