    What should define our times with the Lord in the morning? Not duty, not ritual, but love. We must love the Lord freshly every day when we rise from our beds.     In our times with the Lord in the morning singing is one of the best ways to get out of how we feel and get to Him! It also serves as a bit of an appetizer to whet our appetite for the word. A hunger and thirst for the Lord is also a huge component of our times with Him. We shouldn't spend with Him in the morning merely to check a box or fulfill a requirement of the Christian life, hopefully we have a genuine hunger and thirst for Him!     Revival is something we all long for but something we often relegate to large events or weekend retreats. Actually our Lord's desire is that we would be revived daily. Through His word and by His Spirit our Lord enlivens us and fills us when we have a touch with Him in spirit.
