#28 - Loyalty, Treachery, and the Savior in Between - Matthew 26:1-30

In this sermon from Matthew 26:1 to 30, Andrew Davis walks through the powerful contrast between loyalty and treachery in the final days before the cross. While religious leaders scheme, Judas plots, and the disciples struggle to understand, Jesus remains perfectly faithful to the Father’s plan and to His people. You will see four marks of a loyal disciple and discover why true loyalty to Christ does not flow from willpower but from seeing how deeply Christ has been loyal to us. From the woman’s costly worship to Judas’ tragic betrayal and the institution of the Lord’s Supper, this message calls believers to trust God’s sovereignty, worship without reserve, obey in the ordinary, and come humbly to the table of grace. This sermon is both a warning and an invitation. Even when treachery is at work in the world or in our own hearts, Jesus remains faithful. Because of His finished work at the cross, sinners are welcomed to the King’s table and called to live in loyal devotion to Him.

#22 - Restoring the Broken Bond: Fathers, Sons, and the Power of Grace

In the latest episode of The Brother of Peter Podcast, titled "Restoring the Broken Bond," I dive into the complex, often painful dynamics of father-son relationships and the hope for healing through Christ. Drawing from my own story and biblical examples, I discuss every son's deep desire to gain his father’s approval, the wounds that arise when this bond is broken, and how many men carry this “father wound” into adulthood. But there’s hope: through Jesus, we have a path to forgiveness, reconciliation, and a new identity as beloved sons of God. I explore how understanding Christ’s role as the perfect Son and the gospel’s healing power can help us restore relationships and even break generational cycles of pain. This episode is a personal journey and a message of hope for men seeking healing in their relationships with their fathers.
