Maddie is the first woman I've featured from inside Banana Ball, and I can't think of a better way to close out this season than with her story. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE HUMAN. Not only is Jonathan "Sunshine" Luders captivating to watch on the field, he is such a stand-up guy off the field — every Banana Ball player who knows him will tell you. And after getting a chance to talk with him, you'll understand why he's the epitome of Sunshine. This designated infielder is known for his tremendous trick plays as well as his unicycle skills while hitting a banana ball! And when I've seen him after a game, he seems to always have one of the longest fan lines out there and stays remarkably intentional with each kid, teen, and adult.
