    Numbers 14: Unbelief, Rebellion & the Cost of Not Hearing Yahuah Numbers 14 brings Israel's response to Yahuah's word into the open. The people refuse the land He swore to give, Joshua and Caleb call their course rebellion, and Yahuah names what is happening: contempt, unbelief, and failure to hearken to His voice. But the chapter does not end with Israel refusing to go. After Yahuah gives judgment and commands them to turn toward the wilderness, they say, “We have sinned,” and then go up anyway. When Yahuah said go, they would not go. When He said turn, they would not turn.     Proverbs 17 Part 2 | Judgment, Friendship, the Heart & a Governed Mouth In Part 2 of our study through Proverbs 17, we begin with Movement 3 at Proverbs 17:15 and continue through the remainder of the chapter. Solomon was king over Israel, but Israel’s king stood under Yahuah and under His Torah. Proverbs is not empty philosophy or man-made tradition. It is wisdom that teaches Yahuah’s people how to live — how to judge rightly, govern the heart, handle relationships, control the tongue, walk in understanding, and live faithfully before Him. In this lesson we will examine: Movement 3 — The Verdict, the Friend, and the Heart | Proverbs 17:15–21 Righteous judgment, the desire for wisdom, faithful friendship, financial responsibility, strife, the crooked heart and tongue, and the effect of foolishness within the family. Movement 4 — The Spirit, the House, and the Bench | Proverbs 17:22–26 The condition of the spirit, the danger of corrupted judgment, wisdom placed before our eyes, the grief caused by foolishness, and the responsibility to judge righteously. Movement 5 — A Governed Mouth | Proverbs 17:27–28 The wisdom of restrained words, a governed spirit, and the difference between appearing wise and actually walking in wisdom. Throughout the lesson we will allow Scripture to interpret Scripture, examine the Hebrew where it brings greater clarity to the text, and use Torah and other Scriptural precepts to establish what Solomon is teaching. Proverbs 17 begins inside a house filled with strife and ends with a mouth brought under restraint. Between those two points, Yahuah deals with the heart, the tongue, judgment, friendship, correction, family responsibility, money, authority, and the way His people deal with one another. The purpose is not merely to know Proverbs. The purpose is to walk in the wisdom Yahuah has given.     Proverbs 17 | Covenant Wisdom From a King Under Yahuah Proverbs 17 brings covenant wisdom into the places where we actually live: the home, the heart, the tongue, correction, friendship, money, judgment, family responsibility, and the use of authority. Solomon is not speaking as a detached philosopher. He is king over Israel, and Israel’s king stands under Yahuah’s Torah. This chapter is covenant instruction from a king who is himself accountable to the Word he teaches. In this lesson, Proverbs 17 is taught through five movements: Movement 1 — Yahuah Looks Beneath What Shows The house, position, heart, ear, contempt for the poor, generations, and speech. Movement 2 — What You Do With Wrong, Correction, and Strife Bribery, repeated offenses, rebuke, rebellion, folly, evil returned for good, and the beginning of contention. Movement 3 — The Verdict, the Friend, and the Heart Righteous judgment, desire for wisdom, faithful friendship, financial surety, love of strife, the crooked heart and tongue, and the sorrow caused by folly. Movement 4 — The Spirit, the House, and the Bench A joyful heart, a crushed spirit, corrupted judgment, scattered attention, family grief, and the punishment of the righteous. Movement 5 — A Governed Mouth Restrained words, a governed spirit, and the difference between merely appearing wise and actually being ruled by wisdom. The chapter begins with a house filled with strife and ends with a mouth brought under restraint. Along the way, Yahuah exposes what is beneath the surface and shows what covenant life looks like when wisdom reaches the whole person: the heart governed, the tongue restrained, judgment kept straight, relationships handled faithfully, and authority kept under His standard. This is not a lesson to hear and leave behind. Carry it home. Let it reach your speech, your judgment, your relationships, your household, and your walk before Yahuah.     Numbers 13 | The Land Is Searched, and the Heart Is Revealed

    NUMBERS 13 — THE LAND IS SEARCHED, AND THE HEART IS REVEALED Numbers 13 is not just about giants, walls, and a difficult land. It is about what happens when Yahuah has already spoken, but men allow what they see to answer His word. The twelve men saw the same land. They saw the same people. They saw the same fortified cities. But they did not all reach the same conclusion. Caleb stood on what Yahuah had said, while the others said, “We be not able.”This lesson presses a serious question: When the wall is in front of you, which word gets the final say?     Proverbs 16 Part 2 — What Yahuah Establishes, Weighs, and Directs We are continuing Proverbs 16 with Part 2, picking back up at Movement Three, Proverbs 16:16–24. This section shows what wisdom actually looks like once it is chosen. Wisdom is not merely something a man admires. It changes what he values, the road he walks, the condition of his spirit, what he trusts, and what finally comes out of his mouth. WHAT WE COVER Why wisdom is better than gold and understanding better than silver The highway of the upright and the call to depart from evil Pride before destruction and the contrast between a high spirit and a lowly spirit Why wise handling and trust in Yahuah belong together How understanding becomes a wellspring of life How wisdom reaches the mouth and produces pleasant words How Proverbs 16 continues to test what man values, trusts, says, and pursues We will also continue into the later movements of the chapter, where Proverbs 16 examines what moves a man, how corruption spreads outward, what true strength looks like, and why the final decision still belongs to Yahuah.     Numbers 11 | When Craving Governs the Heart

    THE BOOK OF NUMBERSCHAPTER 11WHEN CRAVING GOVERNS THE HEART Numbers 11 exposes the difference between craving that becomes rejection of Yahuah and an honest confession that a burden has become too heavy to carry alone. The chapter moves from complaint and fire, to craving and contempt, to Yahuah's appointed help, and finally to quail, judgment, and the graves of craving. WHAT WE COVER Why the complaint at Taberah must be handled without inventing a cause the text does not give What the Hebrew reveals in the phrase “they craved a craving”Why Israel’s desire for flesh became more than hunger How Yahuah Himself identifies their conduct as rejection of Him Why Moses’ confession of his limit is not the same as Israel’s contempt How Yahuah answers Moses by appointing others to bear the burden with him What Eldad and Medad teach us about staying with what the text actually establishes Why receiving what was demanded does not prove Yahuah approved the demand How Kibroth-hattaavah, “the graves of craving,” brings the whole account to its conclusion WHY THIS MESSAGE MATTERS Numbers 11 teaches us not to confuse every cry, complaint, desire, or burden as though they are the same before Yahuah. Israel’s craving became rejection of Yahuah who was among them. Moses plainly confessed, “I am not able to bear all this people alone,” and Yahuah answered by appointing others to bear the burden with him. The chapter also gives a sobering warning: receiving what you demanded is not the same as receiving Yahuah’s approval. Israel received the flesh, and judgment came while it was still between their teeth.
