Nelli was also president of the Physiotherapy Association of Trinidad and Tobago as the youngest president ever. Nelli has pivoted her business during the pandemic and now includes telehealth services and tele-education for other healthcare professionals. She received a Bachelor's in Science with a minor in Gerontology from Utica College of Syracuse University, where she later also received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. In 2017, Kerri furthered her education by becoming a Neurological Certified Specialist accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association. Shortly after, in 2019, Kerri opened an educational and consulting business to spread her knowledge of neurological rehabilitation. Hamilton Therapy and Healing has targeted the sub-acute rehabilitation setting and focused on the guiding of therapists in the care of patients with neurological diagnoses.
