    S14E27 League Cup Final Preview

    Our latest episode is a preview of the League Cup final between Celtic and Rangers. In the blue corner we have regular Josh and returning guest Andy. Over on the green side we have debutants Reegan and Stevo. John hosts and Charlie plays the enforcer role. We start off by discovering the impact that Hagi has made in recent games and what has been going better for Rangers. Other players to have made an impact recently ars Igamane and Danilo so their contributions are examined. There are questions relating to Engels and whether he is likely to start the final or whether others have played their way in to the team.  The tactical battle is discussed and whether Rangers might try something different to get the edge and get the win. We check who they would be more fearful of facing out of Kyogo and Idah. To finish off there are some predictions on the outcome.     S14E26 Could Wales Help Scotland?

    John, Charlie and Josh are joined by Dundee United fan Andy aka DUFC Stats. We kick off by discussing who we'd all like to get in the Scottish Cup draw. Later on some people get their wishes. The Dundee United v St Mirren game kicks off our Premiership chat as we reflect on some controversial discussions in the game. Charlie reflects on what has been a positive week for Hibs and gives us an idea of what has changed.  It was a nice week for Rangers in Europe but they contributed to struggle domestically despite winning. Is Josh now changing his mind about whether Clement should stay? There is some brief chat about who the relegation candidates are and we have another week of discussing whether Aberdeen's bubble has burst.     S14E25 Euro 2025 Playoff Final Preview

    It's a podcast of two halves ahead of Scotland's crucial Euro 2025 qualifying playoff final tie against Finland and a huge chance to make a return to a major tournament. In the first half, Dave is joined by Casey Atkin. They reflect on just how big this tie is for SWNT as a whole but also Pedro Martinez Losa, particularly with an emphasis on the importance of the home leg first at Easter Road on Friday. They give their team predictions, and have a bit of fun with a cap quiz too. In the second half, John is joined by SWNT royalty. The all time top goalscorer with a staggering 116 goals in 121 appearances, Julie Fleeting. They look back over how the campaign has gone so far, through the Nations League B campaign and the semi final against Hungary, even picking up the results with the influence of captain Rachel Corsie. They look at the gradual progression the team have been making, and how that along with the return of Chelsea Cornet might just help us take some revenge against a Finland side who have been a problem for us in the past.     S14E24 Weekly Sack Race

    Regulars John, Charlie and Jeff are joined by Hearts fan Graeme as domestic football returns. To kick off the show, Jeff leads on the precarious situation at Dumbarton with them going in to administration. This leads on to Graeme giving us an insight in to what it was like when Hearts went in to administration in 2013. Dundee United's good away from continued at Ibrox as Rangers struggled once again. The rumours surfaced again that Clement had left but as of now he's still manager of the club. We discuss some of the issues at Rangers which seems to be a regular occurrence. Graeme speaks about the impact that Critchley has made at Hearts so far and tells us who he thinks they need to get rid of in January. The situation regarding Shankland is discussed as he has come out and said he won't sign a new contract. Should he still be captain? Aberdeen lost their first game in the league at the weekend but John isn't overly concerned. There is chat regarding Leighton Clarkson though and his struggle to find consistently good form. We round up the show by getting Charlie and Graeme to pick draft elevens of combined Hearts and Hibs team.     S14E23 The Nations League Review

    Forget the seven dwarfs, this week we have seven giants of the podcast world on as John, Josh, Charlie, Krys and Laurie are joined by Paul making his first appearance as a regular with Alan on as guest. We kick off by discussing the game against Croatia on Friday in terms of what we thought of the performance overall. There are some interesting points made regarding team selection and what may happen going forward with certain positions being up for grabs. The group reflect overall on how the campaign has gone and pick who they'd prefer to get in the playoff draw.     Regulars John, John B, Josh and Krys are joined by Polish fan Pawel as as look at the Nations League games this month. We begin by asking Pawel his opinion on how the campaign has gone from a Polish point of view and his thoughts on his trip to Hampden. There is discussion about how Scotland may line up against Croatia which the usual selection debates. John B speaks to football writer Ryan Hubbard about the game in Warsaw. There is some interesting discussion about how the Polish will set up next week with Pawel not overly keen on the tactics. He gives us an insight in to how he would like them to play and mentions some younger players that most will not be as familiar with.     It's the latest edition of our Championship specials as John is joined by Katie, Adam, Ali, Heather and Alan. We kick off by looking at how things are at the bottom of the table. This includes the injury issues at Airdrie, Dunfermline being sold to new owners potentially soon and an identity crisis at Morton. Ali has his chance to discuss some of the changes since Collins took over at Raith with results starting to pick up. There is some chat about the best food in the Championship, budgets, cost of season tickets, extra revenue that clubs generate and more. Heather is in confident mood due to Partick Thistle's recent form with defence being the key to strong results.     S14E20 League Cup Semi Special

    In our latest episode we preview the upcoming semi finals in the League Cup. John hosts with regulars Graeme and Josh representing Aberdeen and Rangers. Charlie also is on to provide some balance to proceedings. Laura from Huddle Breakdown is on to represent Celtic and football writer Ben represents Motherwell. The show kicks off by looking back at the weekend action in terms of the teams represented in the semi finals. We start with the Motherwell v Celtic match which was a comfortable win for the away team in the end. Graeme gives his thoughts on the game at Pittodrie as Goodwin returned. There is some good chat about Aberdeen with some stats thrown in for good measure. Krys might get a semi of his own listening to them. Josh attended Ibrox for their game against St Mirren but wasn't overly impressed and laments the lack of quality width in the squad currently. There are predictions made about how the semi finals will go and we conclude by picking draft teams for each semi.
