    Episode 23 - Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)

    It's the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, and the world is now without Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow. Also, half the world just came back into existence five years after the Thanos snap. How is Peter Parker balancing being a superhero in the new world with being a regular teenager and without his mentor, Tony Stark? Does this movie improve on the first Spider-Man movie? What the heck are Michael and Gina going to do with their lives with no more MCU movies to review? (we don't actually know). We discuss all of this and more on this week's episode.

    Episode 22 - Avengers: Endgame (2019)

    The last time we saw the Avengers, half of them had been turned to dust by Thanos, and now the rest of them get to deal with the aftermath. Michael and Gina somehow avoided the consequences of the snap and are here to discuss everything that happened in this movie, including he conclusion to so many of our heroes' story arcs. Also, just as Avengers: Endgame is the longest movie in the entire of MCU, this is the longest episode of the MGU. We hope you enjoy every minute.

    Episode 21- Captain Marvel (2019)

    At the end of Avengers: Infinity War, Nick Fury used his pager to send for help. Fury turned to dust, and the audience saw a symbol. Now we get to meet the hero behind the symbol. Michael and Gina discuss the first female-led superhero movie in the MCU and how she fits into the overall universe and she may be the answer the question, "So how are they going to beat Thanos?"

    Episode 20 - Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)

    Last time we heard from Scott Lang (Ant-Man), he was sitting in a prison for violating the Sakovia Accords. Because of his actions, Scott is now on house arrest, while Hank Pym and Hope Van Dyne (The Wasp) are on the run. No they're all back together to try and save Janet Van Dyne from the Quantum Realm. Like those characters, Michael and Gina are also back together to discuss this movie and answer several questions (poorly): What the hell are they talking about? Where is Thanos during all of this? Where in the hell is Catherine Zeta-Jones? All of this is discussed--and more--on this week's episode.

    Episode 19 - Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

    We're in the home-stretch, and what better what to celebrate than another Avengers movie? We finally get to see Thanos in all of his evil glory, and it's up to all of our heroes--there are so many!!--to try and stop him before he gets all of the Infinity stones.     Episode 18 - Black Panther (2018)

    We are 18 episodes in, and it's pretty clear from the beginning of this episode that Michael and Gina are pretty excited about watching Black Panther. The biggest question isn't whether or not they loved the movie--it's actually how much they loved it. So much in this movie to discuss, but there are some other things happening, too--Star Wars, classical composers as superheroes, Star Wars--check it out!

    Episode 17 - Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

    Michael and Gina discuss the third movie in the Thor trilogy--also known as the one without Jane Foster. The movie takes a hard left turn from previous, much darker installments--adding lots of humor and goofiness and unleashing Chris Hemsworth's comic side. ALSO HEY WE FINALLY HAVE A MARVEL VILLAIN THAT'S NOT A DUDE! Does all of this come together to make this Thor movie the best one yet, or is it more of the same? Find out on this episode of the MGU.

    Episode 16 - Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

    After an appearance in Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man now gets his own full-length feature film...for the sixth time. Rather than dealing with an enemy that is out to destroy the universe, we have the Vulture, who is selling alien technology left over from the big fight in NYC for a profit. Meanwhile, Peter Parker deals with all the stress of being a superhero and a teenager while trying to impress Tony Stark? Is he able to do all of these things AND get the girl in the end? Can a John Hughes-inspired superhero movie actually work? How awesome is Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes, and should he be a villain in every movie? Gina and Michael answer all of these questions and MORE!
